talk your way out of what? elude what? there's nothing to talk your way out of or elude since you were JUST getting out of the way, not driving recklessly or doing anything wrong. or were you?

no no, i pulled onto a side street to pull over, however it was on the crest of a hill and the officer didn't see me i guess ( or who knows, maybe he wasn't after me ) if he had pulled behind me i feel that i had a valid reason for the accidently loss of traction, but i was afraid that since he didn't see me perhapse he would have radioed a description of my car and said i ran. i'm just paranoid, it was probably nothing

What's the issue with people not reading?

In PA, yes, it's your fault if you're making a left. Blah blah.

But READ the issue!

He was making a left in a clear intersection. There was an opposing traffic left turn lane as well, but the asshat that was IN THE OPPOSING LEFT TURN ONLY LANE decided he was going to turn off his turn signal, floor it, and go straight, narrowly missing our poor TST brother, who had to mash his gas and lose traction and smoke tires in front of a cop.

If he would have been hit, it would NOT have been his fault, as the opposing person made an illegal lane change that screws with traffic patterns.

you must wait for an intersection to clear before you go..so if the guy was going straight they would have to prove he did it from the turn lane. which would be his word against the other guys and vis versu. its all what ifs..

that's exactly how it happened, i figured it would have been his fault since he made the illegal turn.. should have been to hard to get SOMEONE that witnessed it to stick around.. i hope anyways, i know if i witnessed it i would have at least given the guy my number incase they needed a witness

either way, i didn't get hit, i didn't get a ticket, all good :]

den9 12-22-2006 11:49 PM

theres no way ur gonna get a ticket, there is no proof of anything, and im sure the cop could care less by now
