and sometimes not even then. I had some work done to the srt that never showed up on carfax

I figured it out lol

Damn 95 score sounds nice. Thanks for the link!

AutobahnRacer 12-06-2012 11:29 AM

I know my car was in an accident but it was not reported apparently. Sweet.

hmmm, so my 2007 sky redline that I traded for my z06 4 years ago has no title or renewal history after the dealer put it in inventory. I kinda wonder what happened to it....I was expecting to see it sold down in the florida area or something lol

Yep. I think they are a scam for the most part to be honest.

Weird. Mine scored an 81 from 75-86 with the accident reported. I guess all the 03Z06s are wrecked LOL

You wouldn't believe how much warranty work on Julie's cars that don't show on her Carfax.

Hell, the 05 Mustang GT I bought in 2011 on the Carfax said it was never titled until I bought it yet the car had like 40k miles or so on it and was in an accident. Can't beat being the 1st owner of a 6 year old car LOL

Julie's HHR SS is still sitting at dealers LOL.

Antonio 12-06-2012 04:17 PM

hmmm, so I just googled the sky's VIN and I think it may have changed hands to different dealers but don't think it's actually sold to an owner. Turns out the last ad for it was at a place called Klassic Kids Auto Sales in Bethlahem, PA. I wonder if anyone is around that area to take a look and see if it's there and what the mileage is. It'd be funny if no one has driven it in 4 years and I picked up again lol

jpalamar 12-06-2012 04:27 PM

I wouldn't buy a car that sat at dealers for 4 years.

Antonio 12-06-2012 04:32 PM

I know, it's just funny though. The last time they put it on Ebay motors was in september of this year. Reportedly with the same mileage I traded it in with. Even the pics they put up show my magnaflow exhaust that I left on the car. They also are asking 23,000 for it which is a joke. It was worth that when I traded it in 4 years ago. KBB now lists it as 18,500 and that's dealer retail. I wonder if I could walk in and offer 17k and walk out with it lol.

But yeah, funny to do some digging and see it hasn't been totaled or something stupid.

I found out that the silver 2008 Mustang GT I owned was exported to the United Arab Emirates. I already knew that my red 2008 Mustang GT was sent to Europe and auctioned off there on a web site. I guess there is a high demand for wrecked Mustangs in other parts of the world.

I know a few Mustang owners in the UAE on a Mustang forum and I wonder if one of them has my car.

Wish I still had the VIN number for my cleanneon :(

laser92dsm 12-07-2012 10:37 PM

Thanks for that! Just ran the vin's on all the cars at home, I am the the third owner of my supra. The original owner had it from 1986 to 2011 wow, wish I bought it from him instead of the jerk second owner I bought it from. My supra has a score of 58 that's 8 points higher than similar cars.

Now I need to find the vin's of my past cars and see where they are.

kevinl 12-08-2012 12:05 PM

my mr2 is still alive (: thanks for the link!

TalonTsi97 12-08-2012 02:14 PM

Nice 14 points higher then similar vehicles for my car! Thanks for sharing, i'm gonna have to look up a few old rides.

SHOdude 12-09-2012 12:28 PM

I'm too late...

icedout 12-11-2012 02:09 AM

it still works, you have to type in your vin, in the url, after the equal sign

11secdsm 12-11-2012 09:31 AM

Just ran all my cars. Works fine. Thanks Alex.

Big_Jim 12-11-2012 01:04 PM

Just ran my Scion! Came back clean! Scored an 88 with similar vehicles scoring 58-74.
