he's telling the truth. i tried to convince him just to get a v8 and that he could find one around the same price but he REALLY did want the v6.

to each his own.

Well I figure i'll post a couple new pics since there are a couple changes on the car, I have had 15% window tint put on the car as well as installed a roush performance spoiler on it.

Looks good man.

jpalamar 10-27-2012 10:07 AM

NOt liking tha spoiler. When I had mine I really like the GT500 lip.

The01Cav 10-27-2012 09:47 PM

Thanks, I know it's not for everyone, I need to get the hood and ground effects for it to tie the car together exterior wise.

lownslow95 10-28-2012 07:12 AM

what kind of ground effects kit? nothing to ricey...

The01Cav 10-28-2012 01:27 PM

It's a 3dcarbon lip kit, nothing too crazy.

Be careful with the 3D Carbon stuff. The product is quality but since some of their stuff is OEM options they come pre-painted and don't match.

I saw this issue on several of the Fiesta's Julie was looking at.

Big_Jim 11-02-2012 09:56 AM

I dont like the spoiler, but that lip kit on the black mustang looks good.

The01Cav 11-02-2012 11:04 AM

When I buy the kit, i'm not going to buy it painted that way I can take it to the local body shop and have them spray it and match it up.

The01Cav 11-26-2012 08:40 PM

So I installed a 3dCarbon blackout panel that I bought from a local ex mustang owner. I am very happy with the look of the panel on the car.

Have you thought about tinting your taillights?

The01Cav 11-26-2012 11:47 PM

Yeah i'm about 50/50 on tinting them.

HickRocket1258 12-04-2012 07:09 PM

The wing I'm iffy on, but not saying I don't like it. It's coming together slowly but surely and you are keeping it clean.

SikneSS 12-05-2012 01:22 PM

i told him once he gets the lip kit the entire car will look a lot better. i like the style of the spoiler but it does look a bit goofy right now.

dugganzx3 12-14-2012 07:34 PM

I love the car man, glad to see someone else that likes to be different and isn't a v8 fanboy. I dig the black berger panel (that's what all the camaro guys call them) and the spoiler. The lip kit will really tie it all together. You should do headers down the road, I heard a 4.0L with longtubes and it sounded godly, even better than the 4.6L

lownslow95 12-14-2012 07:45 PM

I agree, it will look better with the lip kit on.

The01Cav 12-14-2012 10:27 PM

I am actually looking into doing a set of shorty headers to retain the cats, then I want to do a new exhaust system on it. My cousin and I installed a set of shorties on his 06 Mustang V6 with the Flowmaster Force II catback and it sounds pretty damn good. The 4.0 seems to sound pretty good when they have chambered mufflers installed on them. I'm just not rushing this build right now since I am getting married in June and the money right now is going towards that.
