I think Petey will hit a 11, no problem. I am confused on what you have done to the car, but it looks like a tune and turboback which is awesome for those times. Keep it up bro, it looks like you have a combination of a nasty driver and a factory freak. I get the same thing from people bro, when I was stock turbo I used to smoke alot of cars and people always thought I was lying about what I had done. More power to you bro, I cannot wait to see the car in person.

Ok I'll make it official, 3 inch turbo back and tune took me to 12.2. The rev limiter is going to be raised so it will not be an issue up to 116mph which is more then what I need. I'm SURE, if I can get 112 out of her I can do the rest:)
As far as the stock clutch, it is holding up very well so far, I think I did the most damage to it trying to launch it when it was stock or near stock, or when I wasn't making enough power that I would have to slip it more. The way the car is now I could probably get plenty of life launching the way I am because I really don't heat it much at all, so if it goes I may even replace it with another stock clutch. MRs are pretty quick in stock form. There was an MR with just a drop-in filter right on my azz at Atco back in the fall. He's on this site too.
12.2 is very good. You also had good conditions. If you can keep those 60-ft times low it may be possible if you're running race gas. But it may be difficult to duplicate those times and go faster. However, if your trap speed jumps over 112 (I don't think you can get 113-114 without cams) then your car has the potential to hit that mark. Good luck. |
