my last thing was all grilled food for my birthday. BBQ wings, breasts, ribs, sweet taters, corn on the cobbers, and a homemade grilled chicken ceaser salad. idk why, but i cook for the family on my birthday.

damn freeloaders. lol

i swear tomato's and herbs are the easiest thing to grow man. I planted them in the spring with dried up dirt and recently transplanted them into gresh potting soil. made a huge difference.

i have a cherry tomato plant and a regular tomato plant both doing well but not fully mature.

but my herbs are growing like weeds.

basil, rosemay, parsley, and tai bail all in a windw box planter.

Tim, did you go/consider culinary school? Sure you can find a job easier after that

Car collections like that are typically kept in climate controlled facilities.

if i woke up tomorrow and won the lottery, i'd go to culinary school for fun.

but as a career choice, its extremely demanding and tiring. and it usually doens't pay very well.

a friend of mine grduated from the cia ( culinary institute of america) which is the top culinary school in the country, and has an entry level line cook job.

it's a labor of love, and i need someing to pay the bills yo'.

herbs are determined to stay alive. water them once a day and give em' plenty of sun and they cant die. my tai basil was pretty much dead, and when i transplanted it into potting soil it came back to life and is better than ever....

My dad and his gf take care of our garden. **** is goooood

piku 07-16-2009 03:15 PM

My day typically goes like this:

Wake up
kick bitches out passed out near the hot tub
watch the hot maid clean everything up over a nice breakfast
swim laps in the heated indoor pool for a little
cool off in the outdoor pool
take the M6 out for laps on my private backyard track
tinker with my car collection in my attached fully equipped tuning facility
go code some stuff on my quad screen rig
my driver takes me and my date to get sushi in philly in my 7 series limo
we have champagne at the art museum
my yamaha R1 is waiting for me in my private garage. I go do laps on the schyulkill and I95 gran turismo style
go home to people showing up to partayy
get wasted
lather rinse repeat.

I can dream right?

RSX Type-Slow 07-16-2009 03:16 PM

i really dont have a garden. it's just 2 18"X18" flower boxes for the tomato's and a window box for the herbs.

i'd love to grow some eggplant and cucumbers but i dont have the space.

next year i'm adding banana peppers and jalapeino's

I had some basil I got from the grocery store. I transplanted it and it grew huge over the winter on my window sil but it was in an empty room and I gradually forgot about it and killed it after a couple weeks of no water. But I can attest that herbs don't want to die. I'd do it again if I could get good light in my house in a room that I would actually see once in a while.
