Thanks

I'm looking for a scope that can handle the recoil but will cost under $80. Any suggestions?

Yeah I was offered a Gen4 but I've read too many issues with the Gen4's. Plus all the accessories I have on my Gen3 G19 won't fit a Gen4.

Check out Simmons. My pops bought a house last year with its item in it. Turns out there was a bunch of ammo n guns in the basement. One was a Marlin 30/30 with a Simmons scope. Took it out right be for deer season, shooting from a bench all three rounds in the center of the Target, I didn't even have to adjust it. Did the same thing with a remington 700 with a Simmons scope that was in there too. So the have my vote for a cheaper scope.

I have heard there's issues with the gen 4 too.

I've heard from numerous people that if you just call glock they will send you a stiffer recoil spring (i believe a #4) it resolves all the issues.

Yeah but there's other issues with the triggers as well. It's nothing that can't be fixed without a bit of "tweeking" but then you void the warranty and I'd really hate to do that to a brand new gun when I can just track down a Gen3 and have no issues out of the box. Plus like I said some of the accessories I have for my G19 won't work on a Gen4.

The LCP is one of the best guns I've ever owned. Have about 200 rounds through it without any malfuctions.

I just finally got mine to jam (failure to feed - flat nose bullet hung up on the feed lip) after putting 2-300 rounds through it without cleaning it and carrying it everyday in a pocket holster.

Pretty good reliability test, imo. I had well over 500 rounds total through it before it finally jammed.

Because of this I'm contemplating swapping .380 carry ammo over to hornady critical defense for the "soft tip" thingy that makes sure the hollow point expands. I'm expecting that design to have less of a chance of getting hung up on the feed lip due to the round nose. Thoughts?
