Just get a job anywhere even if you are only getting $8/hr. Money is money at this point and you have to take what you can get.

Easy for you to say. I've applied, called, when in for interviews, and nothing. I have ran out of places to apply. I have applied at every place near my house. If I drive out anywhere, I will spend more on gas than I earn.

Do it, mine was completely cleaned out for like a week, nothing in it. Etched the floor, sealed it/painted it and the walls, and I keep it clean as hell, rinse it out after dirty details and it looks good as new and no dusting in here ever. Unless I keep the door open that is.

Damn that sucks. I'm lucky to have found a job. I graduated in December '08, was doing a bunch of temporary stuff at a temp agency to make some kind of income, then randomly 5 months later, I get a call from a company that got my resume from careerbuilder. Well now I got at least a 3 month job of ok pay, and as the company keeps growing I'll eventually get a full time position with the benefits and perks. I just work full time hours as of now. Oh and I basically work for the government.

russiankid 07-16-2009 01:46 PM

I've tried careerbuilding, monster, and some other website. I've checked craigslist, but no one wants to hire an 18 year old high school graduate.
