Ugh. And that's why you don't go to a meet with a filthy car.

Known information, this is. However, someone looking for a fun manual but a family sedan would be silly to not get this car. Seriously though.

I would auto-x the BMW but I don't have the money to replace the transmission if and when it blows up during an auto-x event.

Wow super late on responding to my bmw vs mazda nonsense I started.
Sam, right now, yes I do have the money for it. My job is great and as of right now I don't see any negative movement in the company *knocks on lots and any kind of wood evar* (I work at gmac mortgage which is nice because I get discounts on GM cars but I'm over it now. I wan something that I'm coin to be happy about that I'll be ok paying money to mod or pay to fix little things here and there)

In all reality I really just want to test drive the bimmer. I always have. It's not incredibly realistic yet in my life especially if things keep going the way they are with my family. I might be "asked" to move out. When I'm ready for it, I might end up with an audi as my next, next car.

I'm pretty excited/set on the mazda3 for now. Mark's right... I'm not looking for old or used. I want my car to be...MY car. Do dirty people as previous owers pls. LOL idk what nicks done in that fusion of his....

CobaltSSChick 07-16-2009 11:44 AM

its hard to keep a car clean in PA, especially when you live out in the country where they're harvesting certain ****, dusty dusty dusty....ughhhh

My Fusion is pristine. It even has 40k more miles left on the warranty and 5 more years.

Cobalt and sti are both silver, it helps a lot...no garage at my apartment, unfortunately

piku 07-16-2009 11:55 AM

My car has been dirty because it's been outside for some reason lately :-P But now it's tucked away again I'll get it cleaned up.

I was kidding dear. I meant what the inside of your car (or other more cereal scummy people) do in their cars. Detail or not... I don't wanna sit in a seat that's had cum all over it... Or that smells like cigarette smoke or something.
I'm just against used cars is all.

haha, hey, I never had a garage until I got this car and my parents split up. So I'm taking advantage of it! Actually, my car has been outside for the past 3 days because I got this silly Mustang in the garage now.

Bring it on lol, it can't be ANYWHERE near as bad as this truck i have along side the mustang. Im gonna need to hire help soon, its hard to find anyone that knows what theyre doing!

HickRocket1258 07-16-2009 12:17 PM

I did used to detail cars at a shop before and have been happy with results. I don't have a whole lot of knowledge with all the sealers and all but have considered starting my own ordeal as well.

Lol I see what you did there. But you have to admit, your car is probably 10x less dirty from sitting outside since my car sucked up all the dust haha
