I definitely won't be going back to any other car, if I am its because I don't have the money to afford one.

Haha yeah just not my taste. I stick to the domestics for the most part. I'd rather take one of the new Impalas over a BMW, but that's just my crazyness.

I rather have a car that looks badass and can handle 150mph+ without a problem.

They're fine. If you go with the 128 you basically have nothing to worry about. If you go with the 135 make sure to get an oil cooler and you should get at least 100,000 miles of all out abuse out of the turbos. 200,000 if you're more sane. The nice thing is that the cars and engines basically haven't changed a whole lot since mine so if you ever have any issues I can answer questions. I've had them all :-P At least make sure to test drive one before you pull the trigger on the mazda.

Yep, I think she will be fine with a 128i. Turbo's on BMW's can be a pain the ass. Most new BMW's still use the same platform for the engine as my car did, Piku's car, and later generation E46's. Inline 6 motors are bullet proof if you take care of them.

Its really simple. If you can bolt it down to something then do that. I know some people bolt it to the headrests(like I did), some go all out and make mounts that bolt to the floor.

yeah I'll figure it out.

i personally am not really a fan of BMWs (newer i guess i should say).. I love e30 m3s(who doesnt?) and a couple of the older models.. especially e38 7 series. they did a good job with that new twin turbo engine though.

their older straight sixes are pretty damn reliable, IIRC.

besides that i pretty much an audi/vw guy for life now :inlove:

I have 5 star crash ratings all around, I saw a Fusion that was rear ended at 60+mph and pushed into a tractor trailer, passenger compartment was all in tack. Mine still gets 30mpg and is still new.

Thank you, I like it too, but I want it gone lol. Need something fast again.

need your opinion people....my bfs bday is coming up in August and can't decide what to get him...sooooo Cobb accessport for our 2004 STi or new LCD TV? Heres the scoop, we are going to an all Subaru meet the week after his bday (which he might have a clue, but I didn't tell him where we're going, only that its a surprise), so I was thinking I could give him the accessport for bday and TV for christmas....whatcha think?

Elliott18t 07-16-2009 11:16 AM
