That's awesome! I'll definitely bring my camera! I may end up meeting you at the VF show on sunday if it's cool with you. I was planning on working but now we're not chroming anything this weekend so I have actual time off... it's a little weird.

Of course it's cool! We're leaving allentown around 10:30 so we should be inside the show before noon. I'll be there with 2 or 3 friends. Possibly the guy who owns the farm too so you might get to meet him ahead of the shoot.

So since we are going on the last day of the show, do you guys think there will be any chance of me getting a good deal on a P30 or will it all be completely picked over?

It's all random. I was told that Sig P229s are everywhere, especially at the VF show. Last show (December?) there were only three in the entire show. One was new for $100 over MSRP (lol), one looked like it was dragged behind a truck, and the other I bought for a reasonable price. That was a Friday night at 6pm.

If you're going to find a good deal on something specific and/or rare sunday probably isn't the best day to go.

Also, are we going shooting after the gun show?

Our tradition is stopping by hooters for wings and drinks after the show. It usually takes us a good 3 hours or so to make it all the way through the show so there's really not any time left for shooting by the time we get back.

The big shoot is NEXT weekend anyway. Save your ammo! :mrgreen:
