welcome to the life of a college student..all the houses off campus are like 1000yrs old and have stupid pulley style windows that might as well be screens cause the wind flows freely through them..i spend most winter days bundled up in my room cause its about -3 degrees in there.

getting out of work early and having off all next week FTW!

Bill...get me a job there please? My boss told me I could take off one Monday b/c there would be no work for me...but it comes off of my vacation time. Gee thanks!

ugh that blows! The insurance industry basically hibernates next week, so that means we will too!

yea we are usually all over the place, but since im working, i dont care lol, i didnt buy anyone presents, and i told people not to get me anything (except my parents lol)

Yea, everyone that has had chickenpox has the virus herpes zoster, as this same virus causes chickenpox (completely different than "herpes" that everyone thinks of!!!, it's a different virus), which lies dormant in your spinal cord until it decides to come out, if ever. I developed a rash out of nowhere on xmas eve, and I took my first day off from work in 4 years to go to the freaking doctor today. Luckily it's almost done with, and isn't painful to me. Every once in a while it feels like I'm being gently poked by a needle, more funny than painful. The doc said that most people need serious pain killers for it!

I just have about a 2" square spot to the side of my abs. I don't have any other symptoms either, so I guess if you get shingles, I got it pretty damn easy! I was wondering if anyone had them though, how long it lasted. I'm reading they could be completely gone by next week at the rate their going.
