The 6 bolt vs 7 bolt topic is like beating a dead horse.....really....

gtsiawd96 02-08-2010 02:18 PM

I definitly agree with you Nick. Just somebody new getting into DSM's should really do there research before buying:cyberguy:. I wish I had it would have saved me thousands of dollars.

I love the feeling of finding a cheap ruinning 1g dsm, reminds me of my talon bought it for 500 bucks. How many miles are on the gsx?

EKlipzGSXkid would u be interested in selling or trading that bone stock gsx u just picked up?

EklipzGSXkid 02-18-2010 08:26 PM

I will be selling it in about 2 weeks as soon as I'm finished with it. I just brought it in today.

It's getting NEW:

-new longblock and accessories
-new turbo
-new thermal r&d turbo-back exhaust
-new 99' conversion
-new oem tail lights (Might aswell buy new being i'm buying the rest anyways)
-new oem 99' headlights from mitsu
-new cd player
-new prothane motor/trans mounts
-new paint (white again)
-new (possibly a fmic kit and new hks ssqv bov.

I buy everything new, Or I have it new at my garage for every one of these cars I build, Which I build alot each month, So being it's a never ending thing, I usually buy ALOT of new parts in bulk. For instance, I just bought 4 NEW clutches last week (act 2600's, And spec 6-puck), This way when ever I need something, I have it right at the garage and I do not need to wait for shipping time, ETC ETC. Plus, I don't mind ordering a ton of things in bulk, Because it shows companies that you are willing to spend money with them, constantly, And that helps out a bit.

I'm guessing the car will sell fast, Once I finish it and list it. I can tell you that with the NEW parts listed above alone, That if someone were to buy them alone, It would cost more then I'm selling the entire 100% finished car for, When it's done, With the above parts. So, I know it's going to sell FAST!!

I can also leave it bone stock, But it don't matter to me either way. What ever someone wants. The car is a bone stock, NEVER touched car. There was not one mod done to it. I sold the mint stock wheels so that is why I threw on one of my sets of stock 99' gsx wheels. The car has a mint 10 out of 10 interior aswell.

I'm not going to turn this thread into a forsale thread though, But here is a picture as of an hr ago. I started to pull the motor this afternoon, And will be finishing that up monday.

Can't believe the shape of the car, I did not even clean it with soap yet... It's been sitting for over a year too, Until I now got it..

Don't worry, It's only 20° up here in PA. You are very lucky to be there, In a nice place, And nice, warm, Weather. Looks like you aren't having trouble meeting other car people either.

i WILL move back down there in the next couple years. F#ck this cold weather.
