Hope you've got a welder... the sway bar mount is toast... which happens to be the front frame rail, and who knows what else is lurking.

Here's a trailer/raw video of the Philly Autocross event from last weekend, I still have a bunch more work to do on this and a TON more footage but the beginning is pretty much done right now...

Downloadable high quality Quicktime version (Right Click and Save Target As, do not stream it the aspect ratio will go to hell)
http://www.njaoc.net/media/Karz/Vide...-19-08Wide.mov

Crap quality Youtube version (at least click View in High Quality for your own sake)

WTF? i guess now it's my turn for clutch problems

today i was driving my car and my clutch pedal would hardly come up and it was engaging MAD low (and anyone that has driven my car knows it usually engages MAD high) so i checked my clutch fluid and it was dry as hell so it looks like i need a master cylinder....yay!

hopefully i can get it done tomorrow somehow

Vinny 10-27-2008 12:01 PM

it could be either ur master cylinder, slave cylinder, or clutch line. ive replaced a couple of masters /slaves in my day, (offcourse i have i own DSMz)

if u wanna make sure its ur master check inside the cabin on the floor if there is a **** load of brake fluid itll be all over the floor of ur car where the pedals are controlling ur 1JZ hotness, because usually these things burst in the rear where the rod goes through the pedal because thats really the only place with a seal of some sort. if its not there ill strongly bet that its the slave cylinder, which is cake to replace and either art or me can give u a hand with it. let us know.

but oh it will cost you...............jk

i appreciate it man, but i'm pretty much at the will of UPS right now....i already ordered a new master cylinder but i'm looking to see if i can get a rebuild kit sooner because it'll suck getting rides from my parents everywhere.....speaking of which...i might be bringing the sky again, lol

lol....i actually searched on supramania about it before i posted (i was actually sitting in my car on my laptop, lol) to find out what it was and first thing i checked for was fluid in the cabin and it's running down directly from the CMS, so that's definitely the problem

i may not know much but i research :)

InvisibleMonkey 10-27-2008 01:35 PM

ok....i am getting a rebuild kit for both my clutch master and my brake master...i won't be waiting almost a week for the freaking clutch master cylinder

anyone know how to rebuild a clutch master cylinder?

then in a few weeks a brake master cylinder?

rebuilding it? y dont u just go to autozone, pepboys, or what ever, and buy another one? i can help u install it.

and why are u getting a brake master cylinder rebuild kit? those two are completly seperate units.

InvisibleMonkey 10-27-2008 02:11 PM

they're all expensive as hell and the cheapest one i'd have to wait almost a week to get

my brakes have been getting spongy on me...i figured i'd do those as well
