Yea going down usually ends in 3 ways

You walk away
You get jacked up bad but heal
You die

Its not so much the falling part that ****s you up its what you slide into that kicks your ass

truthfully i'm not a huge streetbike fan. sure they're sweet, but every d-bag with 5 grand has one and thinks he's the baddest mofo on the planet.

i trust myself on a bike, cuz i know it'd scare the crap outa me. but i DO NOT trust others on the road.

Kid I use to ride with ended up sliding into guardrail supports and his lower half stopped and from the stomach up kept going, he actually lived for a little split in half, not something I want to experience

3rdGenMr2Girl 07-02-2009 01:37 AM

that's awful. that's why bikes terrify me.

blkZ06 07-02-2009 01:39 AM

RSX Type-Slow 07-02-2009 01:39 AM

i lost a friend last june on a bike

my cousin with 3 kids is paralyzed from the neck down from a bike accident, then his wife left him and the kids....

i have another cousin whos brain damaged from a drunk driver hitting him on his bike

i'm sure it's wayy fun to ride, but i'm not taking any chances

Figured you did, hence why i asked. He made it across the intersection and the parked car that stopped him is what also killed him. Such a shame, he was a cool kid

I agree, I've driven HUNDREDS of different cars, I could drive my Fusion to work and get thrown in a Gallardo to take to NJ. I feel it's the same concept, you don't jump into a high horsepower car and go rippin it everywhere when you don't know the car and what not.

Self moderation is a trait I can assure I possess, however about 90% of people my age will jump into something fast after walking has been their primary mode of transport and see how fast they can get to the next destination.

3rdGenMr2Girl 07-02-2009 01:42 AM

yawn i'm sleepy. gotta get up early and put oil in the mr2 so i can sell it! night night all <3

blkZ06 07-02-2009 01:42 AM

riding is fun enough that after people get destroyed after they wreck their bike and luck out to not get paralyzed or die they get back on, im a perfect example I was lucky enough to just get away with a shattered femur I avoided the whole dying thing and I still ride whenever I get the chance

true but you also have to think about the soccer mom in the van yapping on her phone, the overworked businessman who's late for a meeting, the old person who hasn't a clue whats going on, and the kid who's changing radio stations, all of whome arent paying attention to the road and most likely wont see you. homo semen colored white bike or not..

haha I understand completely, that's in regards to driving in itself though, regardless if it's a bike, truck, my dick or a car. There's always idiots, but that can't stop anyone from enjoying what they want. I'll just make it more obvious that the other person is being a jackass and continue on.

funny thing about that is... i've never been hit by them, i've been hit by the average 40 year old man that knowingly making the wrong turn during a red light and smashed me into a wall, or the drunk asshole that sent me flying across an entire intersection into some person's nativity scene on their front lawn... but the best part about that is that you don't have to think about that sh*t cuz no matter what your thinking you will get hit by them. so why base your life off something that you can't control?
