chortle.

i see the swap didnt go so well dan. whats the news for it?

DPancoast 06-24-2009 01:43 AM

gotta plug and fix the vacuum lines that I ignored because I didn't know my motor was sensitive to leaks until Art told me. My old N/A motor I could unplug anything vacuum and it would still run and stuff. But for this motor it won't even start it seems if something is missing. No big deal. Motor sounds healthy as **** just cranking though. Can't wait.

Erik 06-24-2009 01:46 AM

well thats good brah. i wish i could help, but i had to fix a harness for an 06 gto. his wiring for his crank position sensor touched a pulley and shreaded it. a little splicing and electrical tape, that CEL went away.

DPancoast 06-24-2009 01:49 AM

hahaha, yeah, my wiring is way wacked. Sam cleaned up the A-Pillar for me but my oil pressure still doesn't work... not sure why. The engine bay is a nightmare too.

Temporary situation, but still blows.

DPancoast 06-24-2009 01:56 AM

yeah I hear that. Guess it could be worse

Erik 06-24-2009 01:56 AM

just gotta take your time in it man. eventually, everything works out. lots of zipties until you can surround it in those stupid little black tubes. I usually splice wires then replace them with a single, clean wire if i have to. i can lend a hand if you need it with the wiring. im usually pretty good with running them and stuff. not the best solderererer though

yeah I'll get it done. Once I hear it run I'll be relaxed.
