Having a lot of experience with both of them, I feel the exact opposite. E46 has a more substantial feel with the doors and whatnot but it also drives like a boat. The E36 is light, nimble and the most fun to drive. I'm on a list full of people who are waiting until they can afford the E92 because they are disillusioned with the E46, the terrible subframe issues, etc. The only thing truly great about the E46 is the S54, otherwise the entire car is a downgrade.

EDIT: But saying the E46 is the worst of them is like saying you have to bang the worst looking victoria's secret model on a daily basis. You're still living life to the fullest.

Does anyone listen to Halestorm (local Philly band)? If not and you like evanesence/paramore/fly leaf I definitely suggest listening to them. I have a video on my facebook of this awesome drum breakdown the whole band did Last year at the MMR*BQ but I can't get to it at work to post here. "I get off" is currently in the rotation on MMR but they rarely play it.

I don't know if I'm alone.. I think I might be, but I can't stand the girl bands like paramore and evanesence. Evanescence was cool at first but it got old very very quickly. And paramore I've never liked since the start. It's weird too because otherwise it's my kind of music. When it comes to female vocals I prefer trance.

That's a hint to get these episodes of lost resized so she can watch them on her macbook air ;)

By the time the E92 gets into my price range it will be a high mileage car that will be close to 10 years old. I have little experience with taking care of older cars. I hope to change that but given my experience now i will never be able to own an E92 given my personal parameters.

But is Sirius/XM stock goes to $6 or $7 a share.....E92 here i come.

Yeah. I've specifically learned to work on cars because I have always wanted more bmw than I can afford traditionally. I first got into this with a dilemma. I can spend $15K on a brand new cavalier. Or I can spend $15K on a freaking m3 with 125,000 miles. The decision wasn't hard for me. I remmeber doing this 2 months after my buddy bought the first STi that came into fred beans in 04, this was 1 month after we both bought a house together. We were smoking one day and the topic came up and we came to the conclusion that either we're the smartest people in the world or the dumbest.

Oh and my personal feeling is to sell Sirius/XM. This is 100% unfounded but I personally feel like HD radio will become compelling in a year or two and XM will tank. Besides aren't tehy still having trouble with basic profitability?

i hate getting my car out of the snow. it really annoys me.

I think they got to a point where they are achieving really good free cash flow. Its not a profitable company yet but they are getting closer. I am waiting to see on this one. They are going to announce earnings in a few weeks. They are closely tied to new car sales more than anything else. Given Fords profit last year and the amount of cars they sold, it should bode well for SIRI in the near future. Its my gamble stock. I need about 25 more cents till i am at break even.

hahahahha so if you didnt see this yesterday, my new neighbor sucks. she's a cat lady and apparently has bitched at everyone who lives here already, including me. i ran into the guy who lives next to me this morning and he told me his pissed on her doorknob last night. it made me so happy.

imo evanesance and paramore are 2 totally different types of music but thats just me.

Evanesance was never good and it sucks they got big because of their mediocore female singer with limited tone and range. its like a dumbed down version of melodic numetal but worse with an attempt to have like this tragic drama sound to what they play.

Paramore at least has talent as a whole and the vocals actually go with the music and harmonize better. Halestorm is the same way. Her vocals fit the music. Evanesance sucks lol.

Sorry.... I really hate some of the bands out there because they really blow...

Trance vocals are amazing sometimes but again, its another style of music.

Also i dont listen to the radio enough to need hd radio... havent gotten the concept yet i guess

Where did that come from? I like Evanescence with the song she did awhile ago with the Linkin Park guys and another song I can't remember, but other than that not much from her.

I found this new thing someone told me about called Grooveshark.com. Basically just download songs onto a playlist that is saves, but you can't burn it.

Oh and for the record. Im not putting down the fact that she can play piano. thats cool and all, and i respect anyone that can play and sing, but again, i hate their sound as a whole and dont see why everyone jumped on their nuts when they came out because there were plenty of female rock singers before her... Its nothing new

My dad gets annoyed with his Sirius/xm radio now that they've merged. He has two cars that both came stock with the xm radio. And previously had an Envoy with the system as well. He never had an issue in the Envoy unless he was under a tunnel or in our garage where weak signals were expected. In both if his cars now, he loses signal driving on open roads or on roads with little tree cover. It was almost as annoying as normal radio static. they better ge their act together.

she just feels the need to move in and take over the place. i don't know what she bitched at them for, but she's been up me and my roommates ass from day one. she asked my roommate to move his work truck because it ruined "the scenery". there is NO scenery at my apartment. and it's not in her spot so hes definitely not moving it. she's just a total bitch.

the only reason i dig my sirius is b/c of Jason Ellis...

i'm not renewing though after the 6 month free trial is up... and now i'm stuck with the antenna on my trunk, which means there is a hole in my trunk if i remove it. i need to find myself a trunk from a car without the antenna. if i wasn't a stickler for keeping the original parts i'd just trade with someone that wants it.

My mom got sirius when it was by itself one time, a couple years ago, it was alright in my opinion, but I'm good with just the normal radio.

I got a sirius subscription when howard stern went to satellite radio. now that i have been listening to it for 4 years i find it impossible to liten to AM/FM radio. Between the commercials, bad reception, repition of music, and jokes that have to comply to FCC standards, i am happy to pay for something that i feel like is a good product.

i've noticed an incredible amount of repetition with music on satellite though.

I hate am/fm as well and refuse to listen to it b/c it sucks.

but considering my car accepts external storage devices via the usb port... i'm probably going to become a criminal and download even more music to stuff on a thumb drive and plug that into my car. i've already got about 7 gigs on a drive in the car now that i need to clear and put some new stuff on.

ultimately, i'd love to get a solid state HD in a year or so when the prices drop and the memory is a decent amount and just leave that in the car

I won't pay for radio when I can download it free. All I need is Preston and Steve in the morning which I can listen to on the radio, stream online, or pod cast if needed, the rest is mostly music I downloaded.

My neighbor at my old appartment was like that because I would use 2 parking spots, one for my car and one for my bike. I understand that I put my bike in a good spot but only so it is close to the building and in the light. Alot easier to steal if I were to put it in the darker end away from everything. I just told her t f' off because I am allowed 2 cars per my lease.
