yeah it's the main reason I never got to auto-x my red car. Everyone kept tellin me to just do it and askin me what I was waiting for, but that car had so much wear and tear on it that auto-x would have made the repairs cone faster and probably be more expensive from things breaking. Only you can say when your car is ready. Plus if it's leaking now, it'll only accelerate the process if you auto-x! I'm just thankful my new duece has brand new suspension and tires and as everyone can see from the past 4 months, a new engine haha.

I haven't used Monster but I have used another website, forgot what its called.

The Captain 06-08-2009 04:18 PM

have you tried careerbuilder? that's where i've had the most success. Monster just blows.

Elliott18t 06-08-2009 04:26 PM

i had resumes on both and got alot of calls, this was only last year too.

more came from career builder though lol

Try signing up at a temp agency... A good number of office jobs only hire through temp agencies right now. Downside is that you don't always get paid time off or insurance right away but some of the agencies provide it the longer you stay employed. Plus you'll get your foot in the door and your name known to get something perm once it opens up. Good luck!

My GF can only take this stuff in carefully measured credit card swipes so I have to be careful how I plan it out. If I track a bad car and I get a $2000+ parts bill as a result, she's going to be a lot more upset than if I buy coilovers one month, head gasket the next month, etc. Which ironically is completely opposite of most women who could probably handle one big expense but would freak out over constant smaller expenditures. Yes my gf tries to rule everything ;)

time to man up and call some landscapers guaranteed summer work and a workout daily

russiankid 06-08-2009 06:25 PM

I should have mentioned I am 18, so I don't have any education other than high school under the belt right now. I will try careerbuilder though.

agoodall- I applied at a golf course, a friend of mine works there. We'll see what happens out of that, but landscaping is a good idea.
