Off to the stealership tomorrow to have them try and find my misfire. Hesitation, abnormal amount of bucking and CELs. A little buck was normal (have a SL Flywheel) but now it's just rediculous, makes me look like I've never driven stick before. Once I get moving and am above 3000 RPMs it feels fine.

grimm 06-21-2013 01:03 PM

i will be doing the same thing next month i think. took my mazda to get checked out and inspected at a local shop. it passed inspection no problem but they couldn't diagnose the stutter at idle. They said to take it to the dealer because there was a TSB released at some point about computer re-programming.

spent $700 on cars this week so far and thats not including the list I just got today for the dakota. Then I'll be taking the jeep in to get that fuel rail bolt hole re-tapped/heli-coiled.

im looking at dropping $750 for a new motor for the jimstang, and then who knows how much to get it installed. Ivan said we could do it at his place, but I dont know if I trust myself enough to do that.

What's wrong with the motor?

Big_Jim 06-21-2013 02:16 PM

it went kapoohya on fathers day, on 95.

Excellent reference.

My one friend always tells me, "It's just nuts and bolts." Anytime I mention not being confident in doing something to my car, that's his standard response, haha.

It's much easier then you think.

I'm tired and what an expensive weekend. Got paid Friday and pretty much saw it all go away just like that.

grimm 06-24-2013 01:30 PM

although i feel real good, I'm not feeling it today.

Big_Jim 06-24-2013 01:37 PM

My allergies are kicking my butt today.

Stuck in the office trying to set appointments. Any other day I would of already had a week worth of appointments from using a whole day making cold calls. Well now that I need appointments for Friday since the VP is coming system to system to work one on one with the sales people, I can't make one to save my life. This might be pinkslip Friday for me.

mckpat03 06-24-2013 02:16 PM

Went and tailgated and attended the Phillies game Saturday. Then stayed up all night and watched the last 9 hours of the 24 of Le Mans. My body still refused to get decent sleep last night. I'm dragging bad today.

HickRocket1258 06-24-2013 03:06 PM

They day is moving but it looks like it could get nasty out.

Big_Jim 06-24-2013 03:13 PM

its nasty down here at the airport.

AutobahnRacer 06-24-2013 05:20 PM

Can't wait for some dinner. Might have to go to the grocery store for a little something something unhealthy to go along with it.

Big_Jim 06-24-2013 06:00 PM

Ha understood. I got a sick little sony system that holds my ipod for like $45. Im really happy with it so far.

Antonio 06-24-2013 07:51 PM

I'm about to destroy a Costco party sized Eggroll hors d'oeuvre box thing as my dinner because I need to clear up space in the freezer. This may end awesome, or horrible, or horribly awesome

jpalamar 06-24-2013 09:21 PM

I had some very tasty leftover pork. We painted the bedroom today. Gotta do the trim tomorrow and then 1 room is done. Moving is a bitch.

Nice. We are doing that hopefully Friday. Have one more cost in the bedroom then trim.

HickRocket1258 06-25-2013 08:19 AM

Painting is one thing I got sick of quickly. You should see all the paint we have leftover that we decided not to go with.

grimm 06-25-2013 08:44 AM

had a bad night, need to figure out what to do with my life.

lownslow95 06-25-2013 09:29 AM

I ****ing hate painting. When we were getting ready to sell the house in PA, my dad (and I) wanted to paint every room in the house. I found out after doing one room, how much I hate painting.

grimm 06-25-2013 11:03 AM

jpalamar 06-25-2013 01:19 PM

piku 06-25-2013 02:16 PM

Bitches be cray

grimm 06-25-2013 02:22 PM

Pretty much Piku pretty much.

HickRocket1258 06-25-2013 04:15 PM

Sorry to hear that Grimm. I know Heather and I went through a rough patch for a bit just not agreeing on anything, and she always wanted projects done all the time around the house. Now she's calmed down a bit after we have talked.

grimm 06-25-2013 04:42 PM

yea, wish it was something that i could fix or change. but sadly there doesn't seem to be anything I can do.
