When you live in bubble **** no where and only two people have a BMW, it doesn't matter on the year. And I did give a ride home to one skank, she was about to but she looked so beat(not as in ugly) I just decided **** that.

same here.
Some kid tried to tell me that his rx8 runs 10's. and this 3000gt's intake manifolds were turbos, oh and some random kid tried to tell me his brand new evo Mr was 62 thousand. And when you try to explain why it isnt, they blow it off and tell you that you know nothing. whatever.

lordoc22 04-28-2009 09:37 PM

which brings me to my next question. how do so many kids have cars in high school these days? some kids mom bought him a 2008 m3 coupe and he couldnt even drive stick yet.... in high school i only got to drive if i was going to practice or something that i had to stay late for.

yep. my school either consistants of being rich, where mommy and daddy pay it all,

Or 'poor' if you call it that, were you acutally work for what you got.

russiankid 04-28-2009 09:46 PM

I work on my own cars, so I am able to keep them. Instead of buying a new part, I will see about how to rebuilding it for $10.

abrok99 04-28-2009 09:50 PM

i would say 98% percent of the kids in my school didnt buy their cars. granted there mostly like explorers focus's but all brand new.

i paid for all of mine. as you can tell it shows haha.

lordoc22 04-28-2009 09:54 PM

i havent paid for a car yet either actually

lordoc22 04-28-2009 09:54 PM

but i still drive **** so dont judge

russiankid 04-28-2009 09:54 PM

My Honda was handed down to me. I then put money into it. Then my dad decided to by me the BMW, I didn't say no to that.

its also different when its a 3-5 thousand dollar car, then a 20-30 thousand dollar car.

I can say, 70 to 80 percent of all kids that drive in my school, their cars were not bought/paid by them.

I will not be in that. and, id rather have it like that.

russiankid 04-28-2009 09:58 PM

My BMW wasn't even $4000.

blkZ06 04-28-2009 09:58 PM

R_Rambo 04-28-2009 10:00 PM

lordoc22 04-28-2009 10:01 PM

just for the record my first car was a 1991 nissan sentra 5 speed the clutch and trans were so bad that i had to cut the ignition to go between 1st and reverse. that got sold. then i had a 1996 nissan sentra automatic that i crashed. then a 1998 mercedes benz c280, that got sold by my stepdad. then a 2001 crown vic PI, someone else crashed that. 1993 cavalier with trans problems that got donated. a 94 saturn ls 5 speed clutch went and i got rid of it cause i was 17. a 1995 civic i got for free from my stepdad that i blew the motor on and sold for 700. then A MK3 jetta that i sold for my jetta now

When I first got the bimmer it would not go over 55mph without playing hop scotch on the road. I've put 2 months worth of labor into it just to get it a reliable DD. I think I can call it mine.
