If the work takes up more than an hour a day, you're still doing it wrong.

CHAOS 04-21-2009 11:10 AM

making money > going to school and not making money

CobaltSSChick 04-21-2009 11:10 AM

if work is only taking you an hour a day... you're taking the easy way out and getting the same degree every other chump has.

this argument is making my penis soft.

Scapegoat 04-21-2009 11:17 AM

ah... a BA in finance, makes sense now ;)

but seriously... an hour of work a day IS the easy way out. Of course, my only comparison is my ex and her getting her BS in Psychology, which resulted in... at least 4-5 hours a night of homework and studying.

****, i had more than an hour a night taking programming courses.

I'm currently taking the semester off for numerous reasons. I like school but it definitely catches up with you and depending on your degree, which makes a ****ing HUGE difference, it's easier and harder which takes a bigger toll on your "enjoyment" factor. I'm an architectural engineering major, standard time for the degree is 5 years, with 4 years of "internship" after I graduate and grad school while not required, is almost a given. First day of engineering class, we went through all the different degrees in the science field, architectural engineering is said to be the second hardest of them all, biochemical being the first. If that information, and schedule alone isn't enough to kill my motivation than I don't know what is, but I'm still determined to go forward with it. Oh, and I'm also required to complete 30 credits in math courses alone....most degrees require 3-9 math credits to graduate.
