Yeah...lies make it hard for employees that work(me) to work:( . It makes the rest of the employees look like slapped ass when we tell the customer 1 thing but management suddenly changes policy and we are wrong.

What pissed me off was she didnt even seem to care that she gave me totally wrong info. It wasnt some stupid kid, it was an adult. I guess I expected them to care more.

I would've too, they sure would if it was their money being dealt with...Oh BTW you don't have to write them(Acme) a new check(Unless certegy is requesting the check). Once they accept personal checks, they own it and Certegy does not insure it.

redwrxwagon02 10-22-2007 11:20 AM

Yeah, the whole check thing is over. It was a few week ago. Just an ACME rant...

I also spent way too much money on speeding tickets? I havent gotten a ticket in like..3. years? but in sept/oct I got 3? So, between the check thing ($25 for the check, $30 from my bank for NFS, $25 from the check company for NFS), and then the tickets ($107.50, $107.50, and $39)...its like money down the drain.

...emo....

we use to have a guy come in every morning i worked he was an older guy
like firggin clockwork he'd come in, do his shopping and checkout and then he'd sit on the bench and pretend to be dizzy and claim "oh my blood sugar" "oh dear my blood sugar is so low" so my manager would run and get him a soda and then he'd ask for a bag of chips and half of a hoagie and another soda and a candy bar and then leave w/o paying for any of it lol good times

has anyone every caught shoplifters stealing baby formula??? that was one of my favorties lol

I know someone with 3 accidents and 10 tickets and no points on their liscense(this is all over the course of time obviously) but wtf I get 1 ticket and all of a suddenly I get 4 points(I only have 1 left though).
On a lighter note...WOWZORZ MY INSURANCE PREMIUM WENT DOWN BY 3 BUCKS!!!!WOOT -_-

redwrxwagon02 10-22-2007 11:29 AM

we use to get dude coming in all the time go and grab as much baby formula as they could wait in line then run out the door or try to at least

well after it started happening alot i got use to tripping the thiefs as i was a bagger at the last checkout line before the door and i was ten feet from the door

this one dude comes running past the checkout with on of the other managers (ralph) chasing him to he runs right past me and i trip the ****er

he fell so hard face first onto a bench and slammed his face on the metal armrest it cut his head wide open and he blacked out

so not even thinking twice my manager ralph drags his lifeless body out of the store mafia style and goes out to keep him company while police and EMT's showed up and like a gangster as he was sat there with his feet up on this dudes chest and smoked a cig hahahahahaha good friggin times lol that was so much fun

Nah no one has attempted it with the liquid formula, and the powder is behind the service counter. But I like how people think they can just walk out the middle doors on the front end with over 900 dollars worth of groceries that fill 2 carts up past the top, and not get noticed. Because that is not suspicous AT ALL.
-------
Damn yall go hard on theives...god forbid the P.I.C. at my store attempts to approach a suspicous person.

our criminals were sneaky they'd go into the trash bags and open a box up and put like chips and stuff lining the car and put ann the stuff they want into the black trash bags then run out with the bag if we didnt a. lock both front doors or b. kick his mother lovin ass before he gets out

redwrxwagon02 10-22-2007 11:33 AM

we were hard on thieves only because most of them were crackheads and **** that would deal on the property and steal stuff and break into cars

My acme is full of sissys. Everyone is quick to make a phoney security page over the loud speaker, but never actually see what the person is doing. I work in the suburbs, so its really easy to catch theives because they suck at it...and their freinds always rat them out quickly.

Snoozie 10-22-2007 11:40 AM

He doesnt work Mondays Ryan lol.
