does anyone bring boards or anything and leave them there? I drove by the garage the other day and attempted lol I'd go but if somebody leaves boards there that would be great

Foolinaround 12-14-2009 12:24 PM

my buddy and another kid in a slammed fg use 2x4's to get out.

ourbloodykisses 12-14-2009 12:30 PM

I know I saw the pics but do they leave them there till they leave? I could throw some in my car but if people leave them there to get in and out I wont have to

MAXEDOUT681 12-14-2009 12:31 PM

i doubt iit obk... i might need them now as well lol

ourbloodykisses 12-14-2009 12:33 PM

eh I'll just throw some in my trunk, aka my garage lol

liberta 12-14-2009 12:56 PM

i was behind john in the slammed kouki last week, he might need more boards next time

MAXEDOUT681 12-14-2009 12:58 PM

really lol

Foolinaround 12-14-2009 01:03 PM

you guys might be "Low" but these cars are tucking rim on 17"s.

Vinny 12-14-2009 01:05 PM

honestly...just go on an extreme angle. I manage to get out fine doing so.

Got Insulin? 12-14-2009 01:07 PM

So, what's the word for Thursday? Are people going to plead the case to the local LEOs, and still try to have the meet, or what?

Vinny 12-14-2009 01:13 PM

I wont be going out. I'm not risking it.
A real ticket is the last thing I need before the holidays.

Foolinaround 12-14-2009 02:07 PM

Just got off the phone with woodbury pd,sherrifs dpt,and the administration for Gloucester twp. The secretary took all my information including time and location to give to the administrator and im waiting for a return phonecall.

Fujito 12-14-2009 02:29 PM

I'll be out. I've only taken a few pics with my new lens.

Great for car photos. It doesn't distort the subject like my 15mm fisheye does.

Fujito 12-14-2009 02:30 PM

And Vinny, the first pic is where we need to do a photo shoot. The green in the background really sets off the picture.

Vinny 12-14-2009 02:37 PM

Do we have to go through the city to get there? lol It looks like a legit spot

Fujito 12-14-2009 02:41 PM

Take the Walt Whitman bridge, hop on 95 then take one exit and it's right there. You won't scrape anything if that's what you're worried about haha. Well maybe...

Vinny 12-14-2009 02:47 PM

hahaha, if it's minor scrapes I can deal with it..I already do it daily...but sounds good man, lets do it!

angdefeo 12-14-2009 02:53 PM

This looks like your under I-95 near the skate park in FDR. Is that where you took the picure?

Shoot me a PM if this gets approved.

Foolinaround 12-15-2009 12:48 AM

trista 12-15-2009 01:04 AM

haiiiii!

liberta 12-15-2009 01:28 AM

going from that kouki to this

http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s...9/IMG_0675.jpg

http://s148.photobucket.com/albums/s...9/IMG_0665.jpg

1 in every 3 vehicles that came that night had at least 1 time where part of the vehicle's kit/frame scraped the garage. myself included.

optica1ilusionz 12-15-2009 06:29 AM

Bring 4 2x4s and dont use the exit when you leave, the entrance is more forgiving and you have less of a chance of bottoming out and getting stuck. trust me on that.

BLKSheep5 12-15-2009 09:17 AM

im use to a bumpy ride.. scraping etc.. but once i go lower its going to be a doozy

liberta 12-15-2009 01:40 PM

i have the lowest static truck at almost every meet i go to, but i look like a 4wd compared to most of the cars at the garage lol

I sent this e-mail to the County Administrator.

Quote:

After contacting the county sheriff’s office and the Woodbury Police Department, myself and others have been forwarded to your office, and myself and the people I represent ( www.tristatetuners.com ) would like to possibly schedule an appointment to meet with you, or an approved staff member.

I know time must be tight before the holiday, but is there any chance we could borrow about 30 minutes or less of your time, some time in January, or before the holiday if possible?

Let me tell you why I am writing this request to you.

My name is Gabe Fletcher. I am an active user on the website Tri State Tuners. TST is a website that allows people from all over the Tri State area, to meet and talk about cars online. We are a nonprofit website, and when we go collect monies from members, all profits and proceeds often go to charity, or simply keeping the community open.

The members of TST travel all over the area, to meet up and simply talk about cars. I know what your thinking, guys and cars don’t mix. We are a different community. We don’t condone street racing, loud, obnoxious annoying music, loud engine revving or other annoyance or law breaking things at any of our meets. Even with that said, the police still break up all of our meets, where ever we go, because they simply think we are organizing races. We spend way too much money on our cars to be doing such illegal things.

We were meeting at the Woodbury Parking Garage, in Woodbury NJ, for a few months, never ONCE being harassed for doing anything illegal, but the police showed up one night, and we were all asked to leave, even though it is a public parking structure, with operating hours of 7am to 2am. (we were asked to leave at about 10pm) The Woodbury Garage is an ideal meet spot for the winter, since it keeps us out of the weather, and a lot of the TST members simply like the location.

The Sergeant at the Woodbury Police Department said we needed permission from the county to meet at this location (We usually meet on Thursday nights, at about 7pm and go until about midnight or earlier) on Thursdays.

We always have administrative members of our online community overseeing the meets, to make sure people stay in line, don’t rev their engines, play their music loudly and obey the speed limit, and they also make sure that the people attending the meets, also obey those rules, when leaving the meets, because we don’t want anyone to cause or get into any trouble, or hurt anyone. If anyone gets out of line or breaks meet rules, we ask them to leave and not to return. I will be one of the people that over see this.

We also want to be able to exercise our amendment right to assemble peacefully, without prosecution, which we should be able to do, but for the simple point of making sure everyone is satisfied and to make sure we take all the necessary and legal steps, we want the county’s permission.

With all of that said, we would like to sit down with you or some approved member of your office, to discuss this matter.

liberta 12-15-2009 08:44 PM
