CHAOS 10-19-2007 08:05 AM

heard that...

im running into all kinds of problems already today... someone locked the ****ing tape vault and no one knows how to open it... and then one of the key tapes is broken and no one reported it to the sup's.... its like come on people wake the **** up... god damn

05GT 10-19-2007 08:26 AM

Yeah I know the feeling. People can be so stupid sometimes.

I just got off the phone with someone. One of our techs ****ed his system up so bad the computer wouldn't reconnect to any mapped drives, no matter how many times or what credentials you told it to use. I had to fix that.
Then the dudes welcome screen was enabled, but it wouldn't show up, instead it would just randomly log into an account instead of showing the welcome screen haha.

I had to edit the registry to get it to stop auto logging in people lol. I'd like to fire 80% of the people I work with.

CHAOS 10-19-2007 08:39 AM

hahaha yikes

05GT 10-19-2007 08:49 AM

Yeah I hate assholes who can't stick to normal procedure lol. Or at least, if you are gonna change something, make a note of it so the next person doesn't have to clean up after your **** and have a hard time doing it because of lack of passwords lol.

CHAOS 10-19-2007 08:51 AM

yea i play clean up duty all the time... my coworkers have a habit of making **** 10 times harder than it has to be and screwing **** up.

05GT 10-19-2007 08:52 AM

Exactly.

Unfortunatly no. It's other techs (though lower position) the company chooses to let them have and know the passwords and therefore they have every opportunity to change something on a client's machine if they choose to.

Z3R0 10-19-2007 10:14 AM

Well ask them to ask theirselves if they know what their doing before they do something.

Kiel 10-19-2007 10:45 AM

Oh my god I am going to vomit everywhere.

CHAOS 10-19-2007 11:23 AM
