I really don't notice it that much. I mean I do notice people in there expensive cars who think they can drive anyway they like.

twistedlanes 10-18-2007 08:35 AM

just yesterday I had to deal with a jerkoff in a compressor who thought the center turning lane was his personal nur-ring. Then later in the same day some woman on cityline in a cls550 wouldn't stay off my ass and when I switched lanes to let her in she did the same to the person she was behind.

Well it's just funny..b/c some cats that I see think that b/c they own ____ their driving ability and knowledge of automobilia is so much larger than everyone elses b/c they drive a BMW. Obviously their car is the crowning achievment in automobile history. The same with a lot of the VW crew. It's we drink Heinekin, we **** each other, and we drive Volkswagen's. I think the R32 is an outstanding vehicle. Is it slow? Well the last time 0-60 in 6s was fast was the mid 80's, so that's a bit of a talk there too. But it handles really well. The others? Ack. The GTi gains weight, and doesn't gain power how it should to counter that. The old ones? Brilliant. The new ones, especially the "fast"? Rubbish.

Eh, you'll see. lol

Was it an older one? Ask him how it feels to drive the slowest 2 door roadster that money can buy.

CHAOS 10-18-2007 08:37 AM

another thought about that... it happens with every brand/sect of cars.... honda guys, subaru guys, evo guys, dsm guys....

ozthunder 10-18-2007 08:40 AM

Yes, however, the Euro fad is so distinct and in your face that it just makes me want to smear fecal matter all over their overstretched, garish deep dish rims and tell them how wonderful their $30K is in a car that goes naught to 60 in the time it takes to watch Ben Hur.

twistedlanes 10-18-2007 08:41 AM

If by older you mean..boxy rear end and the whole car being half the size of my door yeah Lol

i love how you type in british but you speak with a philly dialect.

anyway... perhaps a segment/rant on every car sect is needed... including domestics... but you may need help with that. lol... ill help.

twistedlanes 10-18-2007 08:45 AM

we have to keep domestics outta this..Lol

ozthunder 10-18-2007 08:46 AM

Oh...believe you me, Jon, my hatred for the F Bodies will come out like nothing you've ever seen. For God's sakes people, who in their right mind would purchase one of those things? When every F-body- COMBINED- is outsold 3:1- by the V6 MUSTANG- what in God's name do you see in that thing that says, "Yes, that's a sound investment".

And if I were to do a Subaru rant, i'd surely post it here, and upset half the people. This fascination with putting your house on mortgage and swapping an engine that raises your bhp by 30 is the silliest thing i've ever seen. If you bought the rubbish car with the rubbish motor, why don't you just buy the good one the next time you decide to change the world with your financial brilliance?

twistedlanes 10-18-2007 08:47 AM

hahaha..I like this guy.

CHAOS 10-18-2007 08:52 AM

haha dude, id like to contribute a bit to this.... cause you know... im an angry bastard and have something to say about everything

twistedlanes 10-18-2007 08:55 AM

lets hear it

ozthunder 10-18-2007 08:57 AM

We have to let it marinade, Jon. My last one marinaded for 3 days, and then i revised it and put it up.

CHAOS 10-18-2007 08:57 AM

hear what? which section? ... i mean i could go on for hours about domestic owners and domestic cars, and then i could go on about subaru guys, and guys who are involved in smaller scenes... like cars that arent super popular... etc etc

Most f-bodies are faster than most v6 mustangs...However people buy the mustang probably because they wany to be able to say they have a mustang.

Yes, I know this.

It's just a fascination I do not understand, and will elaborate later, and not here. TST hinders my creative speaking abilities.
