Ha I'm already ginning just sitting here thinking of it. I originally wanted it in the white color but it comes with that ugly ass tan interior and with my job it would look like **** the first day I go to work. Thought the DGM is a great color and was like my second choice, it was either or really.

I got to give props to Colonial Subaru on Street rd, they jumped though hoops it seems to find a car for me on short notice and make a deal which my dad and I where both happy on. A lot better then what Reedman was trying to do for me which was jack ****.

Woops, congrats, Howie!

Oakes 03-25-2009 09:48 PM

thats a great color, just hope they don't prepare the car the same way Cherry Hill prepares their cars, much like the 2008 STi I did this weekend

howielong 03-25-2009 09:54 PM

Hopefully they take care of it, before I leave the lot I'm going to look it over real good. If there are any scratches or small dings or what ever in it they are fixing it for free regardless of what they have to say. I'm not going to take it off the lot looking like ass when they f'd it up. Hopefully they will remember and not put their dealer badge on it like I told them not to, if they do they are taking it off while I wait but they seemed cool about it when I told them not to put it on.

good call on the dealer badge, I prepared my own car since I worked at the dealer...over the course of a week

So you're getting a new car? Finally gosh.

where'smyturbo? 03-25-2009 10:01 PM

Congrats howie! As soon as I get myself through college, I plan on financing a subaru. I don't know how to drive manual yet either, but I would personally never pay money for an automatic car... lol

Well I WAS going to buy a 5spd wrx, but its going to have to wait until I put myself through college and get a job making 35-40/hr outta college. In 2 years if i start in summer. Which I'm STILL waiting to hear about........ **** my impatience.

My friend alan is going to teach me on his GTi. But if he flakes out, Ken, I will be harassing you ;)

Don't get an auto. I made that mistake. I started driving a manual car and drove it for about 2 1/2 years. Then I got an auto and I thought it would be alright. Nope, I hate it. Swapping a 5-speed in when this auto dies.

The best way I learned was in my Accord. The diff is worn so it has some play in it, and the car doesn't like sudden throttle drops. So I had to learn how to not create a loud thud when taking off or letting go of the throttle.
