you wont get suspended untill the sixth point or more here in PA., and 3 points are removed for every year you go without a ticket.. or something like that.

yeah lets get the kid arrested.. philly hates kids .. let alone younger adults who have a nice car.. they think they are street-racing, drug dealing slime.. well the judges do. and I dont hink i know of a philly cop that hasnt shown to court and the charges got dropped. Judges in philly seem relentless.. unless yhou show some respect.

No the cop has to approach you and talk to you first, then he will decide to drop the charges, lower them or remain the same.. dont be surprised if you get stuck to it.. philly is relentless at times. Kinda have to be to put up with what they put up with.

BTW .. If you do get lucky.. it will be lowered Destruction of public or private property.. Which is what I had back in 04 in coatesville for doing donuits in the snow in an empty parking lot .. WITH A COUPLE COP BUDDIES.. rookie got me <_< he got shipped back to philly shortly there after, but still.. the only thing that saved me was my family's status, and my cop buddies ( they were higher ranking officers) needless to say, i havent gone to do donuts since.. tempted but ehh.. a bit afraid to now. I havent had a ticket in 4 years now and plan on keeping it that way..

I hope the cop doesn't show.

dont get your hopes up that the cop doesnt show....they get paid overtime to be there and unless hes on vacation he will be there. (which is why alot of officers suggest going to court, and they'll help you out sometimes only because you're helping them by being there)

people always say "I hope the cop doesnt show"...you know what happens? the cop shows.

It'll just be less nerve racking for me if he doesn't show. If he does, let it be and hopefully we can work something out.

i didn't read why you're going to court... so i'll assume speeding.

don't worry about it. Every time i've been to court for a speeding ticket the officer took my aside before hand and said he'll drop the charge to 5 over, which is no points.

More often than not, if you're cool at a stop, the cop is going to forget who you are by the time the court date comes around. Cops aren't out to **** you over unless you give them a reason to.

Menacing_Gc8 03-22-2009 08:48 PM

READ DAMNIT.. he was doing donuts :-p

Scapegoat 03-22-2009 08:48 PM

i had a strange dinner... steak w/ feta cheese... and baked beans. they don't go together at all, but both were delicious

I was doing donuts in a parking lot in the snow. He pulled me over, told me what he pulled me over for. Asked for my info, and said he'll be back with a ticket. Handed me the ticket, I said thank you and left. Took about 15 minutes, didn't back talk to him or anything. I don't even remember what he looked like.

whatever happens, you'll be fine. you'll get a ticket, but it probably won't carry any points.

i used to do donuts in my '73 mustang... that was hilarious... never got pulled over. burnouts in the school lot, donuts in the school lot and churches... haha... burnouts everywhere.

I did a burnout at a car show... the car was a uni-trac rear so it was safe enough doing peglegs in place. cop came over to give me a warning and a house full of drunk people were telling him the car that did it took off down the road

russiankid 03-22-2009 08:51 PM

Haha. Well he may remember me as I was in the BMW.

DPancoast 03-22-2009 08:51 PM

The citation was like $125 and 3 points. I just don't want the points.
