the whole tip thing has me a little confused though. I gave my guy $20. i don't mind giving the tip b/c he did a great job... just not sure what is acceptable.

I always throw them at least 20...if they hook me up I'll probably throw them a little bit more...****, if I was the guy giving you your first tattoo I wouldnt expect any tip at all, just because thats the way people are...so I'm sure he was happy with the $20 you gave him.
