Do a custom 3inch exhaust no cat, no resonators and the muffler of your choice. Probably will be the cheapest and best sounding route to go.

looks like ill need the mbc, tb elbow, o2 modifier, that seems to be all..ill see how i feel edit: he says that kit retails for 550...not true, and I dont buy from shady sellers. |
The TB elbow is included.
You'll just need a boost controller. The O2 mod isn't necessary. |

I already ordered the kit, due to be here on the 10th. Boost gauge should come around the same time, and install will happen as soon as I find a day for it. This is the gauge http://www.boostcontroller.com/products/GB-SW114537.jpg |
it looks like a nice car.

OK so me and Roto got together to put all of this stuff in, only got about 1/2 way there
Currently installed: Intake TB Elbow BOV Boost gauge Left to do: o2 modifier MBC "tune" The problem is that with the new setup, the stock boost controller doesnt work, so I technically dont have one at all as of now. Stock boost is 7psi, I hit more than 15 on my way home from his place. Just a bit left to go to have it all complete, car is a beast now, granted it will be more tame with the proper 9psi boost set, but should still be a great gain from stock. Sound under acceleration is incredible, intake really opens up the turbo, sounds like a jet taking off every time I spool up. BTW, I thought I should mention, and Roto asked me to as well. When he was wiring the backlight for my boost gauge into the dimmer swich, he asked if I wanted it dimmed, I said if its not a big problem, sure. What he ended up doing was wiring it so the gauge and the rest of the cluster dimmed against each other (turn the wheel and the cluster gets brighter but gauge gets more dim, vise versa) lol Will update tomorrow, things looking good so far. |
bye bye engine soon.
