Do you guys dilute your windshield washer fluid? Bottle says to not add water.

lownslow95 01-27-2009 09:08 PM

Nope.

TROLL 01-27-2009 09:09 PM

no... you use it straight. and if you buy crappy stuff it'll still freeze when its real cold out.

coolant is the only thing that SOMETIMES gets diluted, but that depends... gotta read the bottle.

In the winter time, I get Prestone with the de-icer already in it.

I use Peak that has the de-icer stuff in it. So if that freezes, so much for the de-icer.

Coolant is usually diluted unless its already a 50/50 mix. I always mix my own with distilled water.

i used to put rubbing alcohol in the windshield fluid when i had my 99 stang... that was... 6-7 years ago... so i'm not sure if that was ok to do... and since i don't know... i don't use it anymore...

BUT!!! I do remember the windshield getting a nice streak free shine. I can only assume that its bad for the rubber tubes and weather stripping

Rubbing alcohol is 70% water, and it won't freeze.

115 in a 55 :o

got it down to an 85 in a 55... but still... i was cruising down the 611 expressway by doylestown after a 12 hour shift as an electrician... exhausted and not paying any attention and just wanting to get home

omgjacki 01-27-2009 09:22 PM

I want a 240 hatch. Haha oh how opinions change.

Not in place of my coupe. God no. I'm still all about the coupe, but I would like a hatch.

russiankid 01-27-2009 09:26 PM

If you take a BMW touring/wagon like the one pictured about, change the rear diff, drop in an S52 with cams, and a chip, it will run mid 13's.

lownslow95 01-27-2009 09:29 PM

I want this. Pure Sechs. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x...0009_large.jpg
