not that is much of an update. but i did order the turbo drain/feed fittings along with a 3 inch vband for the down pipe. Looking to build myself a turbo manifold this coming weekend if i have the time.

this just in, RockNRace has lost his mind and is preparing for an update of the century next week. (not really, but i've got some goodies to install)

so update time!

ive been working on the car "slowly" the past few days with the hopes of finishing the hot side portion before i return to school on monday. The turbo is a 76-65 from on3 performance, capable of 500hp +. I don't have any intentions of coming anyone near there for now. I'll be leaving the engine completely stock with the exception of fuel injectors. With ~5psi of boost we should see 325-350 hp at the wheels, plenty for this guy.

I wanted to use one of my turbo manifolds, but with a modified cross over point, but with the way i did my upper radiator hose and the location of the heater hoses i decided to just work with factory truck manifolds and run it on the driver side instead.

unfortunately this probably means hood exit exhaust,but maybe not, still investigating the possibility of fender exit.

Then i welded my wastegate right to the turbine housing to save space

but then i realized that wasn't going to clear the hood, so i added a 90 to it.

probably the last of the updates until winter break. Hot side all done. Need to plumb oil obviously(wd 40 in this video) and come up with a better "down pipe." Christmas break is in 3 weeks so expect a full fledged update of cold side piping, down pipe building and tuning shenanigans.

well when something used to be your profession you tend to work quickly. The tuning/wiring portion will take forever. Might have to call in the Denmah for back up :lol:

Ah home from school for a few weeks. Plan on trying to plumb the oil lines, build the down pipe, and purchase an intercooler during this break. I'll update when i get to it :) have a good holiday guys!
