merh, I graduated high school 4 months before the rest of my class and have had my full time job since February 2006. I didn't go away to school, I got my associates in business management through night classes over the past 4 years while I saved more money than I ever could have imagined, advanced at work, enhanced my skills and knowledge of risk analysis in the Mortgage Banking world during an incredible downturn in our economy as well as a terrible time for my company itself.

No, I didn't backpack through any amazing region or country, but I've experienced some fantastic things over the past few years, met and got to know some of the most wonderful friends I could ever ask for, fell in love, and now I get to start another new chapter of life with the people who really matter (and i have more free time than I've had in I can't remember how long!).

Call it what you will, but I'd say I'm one of the lucky ones, and to me, that means I win :)

Probably. I just feel a little overwhelmed as of late. I'm into 11 years of uninterrupted full time work though. It takes some time to get where I'm at mentally.

**** the real world... anyone have any connections for a job for someone with a finance degree that DOESN'T involve sales? I hate my job, it's too far of a commute and not enough monies... I was probably bringing home more working at advance auto than the bank I work at now... ironic right?

I'm on vaca the 2nd week of Jan and then I have a few floating days to use whever I want.

im carrying a little over 3 weeks of vacation into next year with me.

no vacation carry over for us this year, so i got one week left to take off, and i will be :)

We can only carry over up to 5 days, but they go into a sick bank that doesn't get touched unless your out more than 3 days. But I have until April to use my remaining pto days.

In other news, I just made a "the section quartet" channel on Pandora and it... well it's just good. :)

Can't wait for the day to end. Boss decided to micro manage things and instead of actually letting me get work done I'm being grilled about every detail about everything that doesn't matter.

so i think i'm gonna leave work in about a half an hour. and be done till the new year!

I have a 1/2 day tomorrow. Then off til Tuesday.

I have to work a full day tomorrow but were having a Christmas party so well just be eating all day while we work. Lol
