Your welcome. When you come down, It won't have a valve cover on it so you can see how everything is. I'm going to pull it out of the car early this week. I bought the car not completed, And was told the engine was a fresh rebuild. It definatly has new waterpump, timing belt, MLS headgasket, arp headstuds, ETC ! I can pull the pan before you come if needed aswell but you would just hafto re-install it before installation ! Can also give you the number of the person I purchased the cars and bulk parts off of, To verify all of this aswell !

no worries as long as it doesnt make any noise after i drop it in ill be happy, i couldnt deal with another rod knock :o

I would pay for your fuel expenses and time to remove the engine, And bring it back for a refund if that were to happen (which it won't unless you don't put oil in it !) I can write that down on paper for you aswell if it made you feel any better. If you didn't buy the engine, I was going to pull it from my car it's in (2g gst), And put it in one of my other cars (2g gsx) so I can sell the car complete.

I have a 2g n/a spyder, but i'm looking to sell it. It's auto, and I want a hatchback lol. The trunk in the spyders is too small for all my tools.

Ok... poll time...

Should I stick with the MHI TD06 20g I have now?

Or

Save and grab an FP Black come fall?

TalonTsi97 04-08-2013 10:52 PM

I say stick with the 20g for a while. Deep 11's can be had with the turbo with the usual stuff & the money the black will cost i dont see worth it rite now.

2g Talon 04-08-2013 11:13 PM

That is a very good point.

DannyGSX 04-09-2013 11:51 AM

decent 2g DSM's are as rare as a mew these days, this sucks.

thevidon 04-09-2013 01:02 PM

I'm running an old school Buschur TD05 20g with the 20* clip. Love it. Stick with the 20g. :)

I've disliked my DSM since a week or so after I got it. Threw the timing belt yesterday.. Once it's fixed, it's gone.
