We need to get a Mitsu track meet going for some time soon. Maybe April? Last weekend when we went we had 5 Mitsus (last second thing).

If you're willing to tear your block down, I have a few good cranks laying around. I'm sure you could easily piece it back together.

unfortunately i dont want to have it sit with no motor in it at work they wont like that, im trying to build something so i can just swap it out

11secdsm 03-17-2013 10:25 PM

Gotcha. I'll keep an eye out for you

stover 03-18-2013 09:20 PM

found a 6 bolt picked it up today, looks like it may just need a light hone and ill do rings and bearings and drop it in if thats the case. so the question is clevite 77 or ACL i was told to stay away from topline if im shooting for more then stock power, and do i go aluminum or tri metal ?

also does anyone have a set of mics and a dial bore gauge i can borrow to check my motor? rather not pay a shop to check something i know how to do

2g Talon 03-18-2013 09:58 PM

Id go acl race bearings. What hone did you go with? Did you have it hot tanked, or bored?

EDIT: is there a company any of u guys would trust to call up and say "i just bought a 6 bolt block and need everythign to assemble it" and have them get u a parts list?

2g Talon 03-18-2013 11:11 PM

Short answer, no. If you research what you want (bearings, pistons, rods, rings, etc) ane look at pricing, id go extremepsi.com. pretty much a 1 stop shop for us dsmers.
