Does anybody have a .22 rifle they want to sell? I am looking for something just to shoot around with.

you can find them new for cheap, you can find them used extremely cheap. what are you looking for a semi auto or bolt?

my guess is from the noise percussion or whatever its called, even a 12 gauge slug or 30-06 you can feel pressure or vibration pouding on your sinuses.

Semi is preferred but bolt is just fine too.

the concussion from all the rounds finally took its toll on my nasal cavity

ruger 10/22. go to cabelas or dick's sporting goods. they're always in stock. my brother bought a brand new stainless 10/22 at dick's for $270.

Took my son to the range for his first time tonight. The end results were even better than I could have imagined. I'm going to get him his own Ruger 10/22 as the GSG-5 is a little on the heavy side for him to handle currently.

Big thanks to Jay (Pagoda240) for taking us to the range with him so we could teach Michael how to shoot tonight. He did amazing for his first time shooting a handgun as well as his first time at a range. Now onto some pics.

He hit the bulls-eye with my GSG-5 .22lr and was pretty excited about it as you can see.

Then he hit the bulls-eye right on the cross with Jay's Sig Sauer P229 .22lr conversion and again was pretty damn excited.

A little Super Troopers humor about a missed shot.

Jay & I supervising while he shot the handgun.

There is more going on if you are getting a bloody nose from that barrett.

270 is extrememly cheap in the world of guns, but ruger 10/22 is the way to go, you can probably find them cheaper used.

check out of some marlin bolt actions, i think you can find them under 200, but i really wouldnt rely on anything being good any cheaper than that.

as far as concussion from noise, i that is crazy, i never even thought it could give a bloody nose.

i just looked at buds gun shop online and seen plenty of .22's for under 150 bucks.

Oh I know how expensive guns can get, its just that I quit my job so that I can go back to school full time. I focus everything, including my money, on school. When I get out, I will be able to buy expensive toys again, but for now I have to prioritize.

I'll have to check out that website, thanks for the tip.
