Exactly!

I only have one gun right now and I really don't want to take a chance of ruining it just to save some $$ on ammo. Now when I get out of school and can afford more toys, we'll see what happens. If I have my way, however, they will be all upper model guns like yours, so I will most likely stick with store-bought ammo to be safe.

the kimber is my dads, honestly im not a huge big fan of it but its an accurate gun, the laser is pretty cool but i honestly shoot better using the regular sights, the laser is sort of a distraction but i guess it would be good for point and shoot. i seem to hold the gun more steady when aiming with the regular sights. i recognize your name on pafoa, where do you shoot? im not particularly new to tst btw

i noticed when im shooting guns with lasers i focus more on the laser than how im holding and aiming the gun, which in turn makes me less accurate. i shoot at CP. as far s not being new to tst theres one of two people im guessing you could be haha.

Well it looks like I finally get to shoot something... yesterday my neighbor's dog bit my puppy and almost attacked my mom. Last year it killed one of our chickens. It also likes to sleep under our porch and bark at us from there when we move around in our backyard. I have had enough of this so yesterday I went over to my neighbor's house with my .40 OC'd on my hip and told him that if the dog comes on our property again, I would empty my 16 round magazine into it.

howd that conversation go? you may also want to call animal control, not sure about the legality of shooting a dog 16 times!

~Brian~ 07-24-2010 12:27 PM

Well, his jaw dropped.... then he got pissed and started to run his mouth saying that I had no legal right to do that. I informed him that I spoke to the state police and local animal control already and they told me that I am well within my rights to defend myself and my family if this dog comes on my property and continues to behave like this. I then offered to call animal control and have them come over to explain it to him, but he said it wouldn't be necessary.

Later that day I saw him put a stake in the ground and attach a cable leash to it then hook the dog up. Hopefully that will be the end of it.
