Renewed my permit to carry this week.
It was expiring in September. I still need to get one from florida. PA is so stupid in the fact that no bordering state reciprocates PA's permit to carry, yet all but NJ do with Florida
New Germany just plain sucks

Nice Nice, in PA its LTCF not a permit (someone was going to say it).... I was looking into Florida's

I got the beavertail for comfort. I haven't shot with it yet but I feel like I have a better grip with it on there, well see if it really helps.

If you're getting slide bite on a Glock, then you're holding it wrong...

My Glock came with night sights *trijicon* (from Dave) and all i did was add extended slide lock and extended take down levers (which is definitely a great addition) As far as that i would not touch my carry gun anymore than those three additions.

If you want all these crazy "mods" on your gun, I would not carry it....Get another carry gun...

Also, have you had an issues with the Gen4? or did you replace the guide rod/spring with the Gen3?

99corvette 08-29-2011 09:39 PM

Nice collection. I been looking at lwrc repr lately, but I really need to start saving. Side note my spp showed up today, ill get pics this week. Still waiting on my swr trident 9 suppressor and waiting on a Dakota tactical mp5 navy, made with all hk parts except the receiver. Had a issue with my mp ar15 tactical. Gun is one of the first ones sold by s&w, I beleave it was a stag arms receiver(they made receivers for s&w at first) my trigger pin had play in it and would slide out when firing. Sent my lower back to s&w, got the call Friday their sending me a new receiver which they will reimburse me for transfer fees, gotta love a good company, so now I'm waiting on that too.

I'm down whenever you guys are. This weekend's no good though.

I've been saving a couple exploding targets.

CleanNeon98 08-30-2011 11:08 AM

BTW I just saw someone asked, no issues with the gen 4. Ejection issues seem to happen with a lighter ammo like 115grain and other lows but I've never had any (I shoot 124grain)

elff 08-30-2011 12:16 PM

I have similar issues but the opposite with my .40 Baby Desert Eagles.
Ligher grain ammo Shoots really accurate and never jams. Winchester 120grain and EFMJ rip through it.
180 grain seems to jam it once every 40 shots.

So I no longer use the higher grain ammo.

I've made you this offer before, but you are more than welcome to come up to the farm anytime Jul.

You can have your choice of a scoped 18" HBAR AR, a 16" AR with iron sights, a red-dot equipped WASR, a scoped 10/22, a red-dot equipped GSG-5, or a Mosin Nagant.

I know, not much of a selection compared to some of the guys here but more than enough to pop your rifle cherry. The nagant would be like first time anal though. lol

rodder 08-30-2011 03:40 PM

thanks for sharing.

Went to the range today with Drifty240 to try out his new 2011 double stack .40s&w he picked up for competition & to get some rounds through the Para single stack 1911 he sold me a few weeks ago. While there I was talking to the shop owner about building an SBR ar15 that I would later throw a can on. He of course went into the back and brought out his RRA dedicated 9mm SBR ar15 with a can on it to show me. I drooled then cried cause I couldn't take it home with me. He did however let me take it into the range and put a few mags through it (without the can :(). This is just one of the mags. I have now decided even though I can't have one in FA I will still be building my SBR ar15 in 9mm.

I'm honestly terrified to think that you are walking around with a gun.

And I'm not even joking right now.

I'm debating just ordering a fully setup carbine as well as an SBR upper so I can play with it until the paperwork goes through. But I definitely want a dedicated 9mm one like what I was playing with. That thing was so f*cking sweet!!! Then I'll build a .223/5.56 one was well. I just wish I had the kind of money to make it full auto

You can brag about it all you want. Seriously, we love guns and we brag about ours all the time in some way or another. The problem is with your presentation. When a few lines of text on an internet forum are the only things we have to judge your character by, it would probably help to not look like you're an immature kid. This ---> "haha. guns!!!!!!" <--- does not help.

We (try lol) to get together sometimes and go shooting. We have a ton of fun and kill lots of inanimate objects (e.g. paper, metal), and we blow sh*t up. You might not give two sh*ts about how we feel about you, but your first post, sounding like a hyper kid, doesn't exactly make me psyched to stand next to you while you have a round in the chamber.

Again though, you might not give a crap, I'm just sayin....

I can understand how u could take my first post the wrong way. I am excited like a little kid as I was excited like a little kid wen I forst turned 16 and got my first car, or wen I turned 18 and didnt have to be off the road at 11 oclock. You get excited for new stages in life and now I am at the gun collecting stage. So yes I am like a little kid and very excited.however, im not a child I know gun saftey and the responsibility that comes with being a gun owner. So my bad for coming off the wrong way to the forum and everyone can know im not a stupid kid from the hood trying to blow people away. Im in it to collect and rang shooting. So I hope you all can change your opinion of me and allow me to keep posting on the thread without judgment.
