I take my Miata there frequently, nobody really has a problem with it, I just remember that if it looks like they are packed I park to the side.

This. Mainly it is just a great photo spot and we like to line up all the subies with the skyline.

Word of advice. I was up there Thursday night and around midnight a cop came with a book of tckets so I bounced he was just trying to get people to leave. He said to park at the waterworks and for future reference not to park up there anymore. The waterworks is the ring with the fountain behind the museum.

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully that was just an off chance as we have been there without trouble for a long while. If need be to move from that spot, there are multiple areas within sight of the stairs we could relocate to.

Yea it's an area where you can come up with a plan B, C, D, E, F, and maybe more in a second.
