PM headed your way!

J-ShaZzle 08-16-2012 07:59 PM

Just got back from Import Intelligence where they had my car for 2 days to do the mishimoto radiator test fit and install video.

I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Got a free radiator, hoses, and trans cooler out of the deal. I was told to watch the fluid levels of both coolant and transmission. They said I may notice a burning of fluid smell from excess fluids spilling during the swap, but they assured me they cleaned the best they could. I didn't notice any smells, but my interior had a slight oil smell which quickly left while driving home.

FIY for Genesis Coupe owners with an automatic. The trans cooler is built into the radiator so an aftermarket one will have to accompany the new rad.

The only thing that I was unhappy about was the fact they had forgot to plug the MAF sensor back in. When I got home and did a further inspection of the car; I also found a piece of excess hose near my cone filter.

I saw the same guy helping Jay at Seoulfulracing with tunes (during a meet earlier this summer) there as well. The guy who handed me the keys today said he was really impressed with the car when he test drove it to ensure everything was working correctly.

Glad you were happy with the outcome of the test fit. Thank you for participating and I hope you enjoy the products! I apologize for the sensor not being plugged in and the hose left behind.

Keep me informed about your opinions on the radiator, transmission cooler and silicone hoses.:)

Thanks

They are pretty neat cars and I am impressed with the power they can make. I will have a chat with some folks here and see if we are interested!

Currently we offer a direct replacement unit, but we do not have an all aluminum radiator in production.

Sending both of you messages. Thanks guys.

Hmm, anything for a 01-04 C5 Z06 manual (auto and manual have different radiators) Possibly with and without integrated Oil Cooler?
