i would run a 225 all around and keep it this height. To fill in the little gap you have left in the back

Chefsp0t 05-03-2011 10:37 PM

Haha cheating is fun though. I have a lip with a splitter under it. ;) I also tuck tire front and rear though.

The 225/40s will look a lot better than the 215s. Good move.

You're not going to the OCC Mazda meet this weekend are you?

mx931 05-03-2011 10:38 PM

i wanted to but i dont think i am anymore, got work all weekend

Nick Merrone 05-03-2011 10:38 PM

Also if you did a wider tire up front with out upgrading the rear it would look dumb..And you can say function > form, because your stancing your car lollollol. :P

It would look dumb with more stretched rear

Wheres the occ meet at and when? Connor lets go..maybe haha

Chefsp0t 05-03-2011 10:41 PM

Glad you're liking the accessport. It does wonders for the car.

Noo he needs to go lower in the rear to fill the gap haha

DC2-Chris 05-04-2011 07:50 PM

needs to go lower in the rear and remove perches from the front if you are fully maxxed out in the front
you dont want to have a saggy rear either

mx931 05-05-2011 11:09 AM

i havent had a chance to touch the rear. i need to see what i can do when i get the new tires on (225/40)
what you guys think its gonna be like?

DC2-Chris 05-05-2011 03:01 PM

your going with bigger tires? i think the size you have on there now is fine. im thinking your def going to rub more with a wider tire especially in the front from what it looks like. but yes your def gonna be rubbin

TalonTsi97 05-05-2011 04:45 PM

buy more parts from tom, his car was a blast with the mods and your pretty close to it.

I deff am, i need a fuel pump asap though, its fuel cutting everyonce and a while still..
did some ap a/f ratio logging last night, right where i want to be on the stage 2 tune. did the 91 octane stage 2 tune with dp and intake.

as far as the stance, i have 4 tires sitting at home and couldnt find any 215/45s at the price i found these. im going to drop the back but honestly the front is fine. its functional and fine for me

TalonTsi97 05-07-2011 01:16 AM

grab tom's fuel pump & downpipe, run 93oct, and get a good map on there. I'd also suggest getting the fmic from him, would look great with the rest of your new additions and give you performance

gotvtec? 05-07-2011 01:27 AM

Buy tom's shift knob too so chip can sit on it
