i'm feeling better... after passing out around 930 last night and waking up just before 8. i'm hoping i've finally kicked this cold, find out around lunch time when it usually hits me the worst

That sucks Ken. There is somebody at my work who sits near me that has a bad cold going to. Always blowing her nose haha.

i'm not that bad... if i'm sneezing or blowing my nose a lot i stay home. just the usual congestion, throat soreness, headaches, light headed sometimes. nothing too major... just annoying the **** out of me

morning everyone. good night last night with the girlfriend. I'm jealous that she has off today. Registering for classes and stuff. Lucky lol. Glad it's midweek already. Can't complain about that. Also excited to get my tattoo tomorrow. Other than that... same old same old... just another day.

Yeah, her days to work gives me time to chill with some of my other friends. But that's mostly during the week.

Lol yeah all my friends that I had back in the day went sour over a girl from way back so my friends now are all new an car guys/girls so when we hangout it's usually at car meets. Basically I see all my friends at car meets lol. We're all too busy any other times to hang out. Nothing wrong with that though. Plus having Michelle around keeps me sane haha. She's my best friend ya know?

But yeah man. I'm usually not bored but this is ridiculous. It's supposed to be the busy season and we are not busy lol. I mean it's not like we're gonna get laid off or anything since we are behind with some stuff but it's soooo booorrring haha

I need a new job but this place is so flexible, close to my house, and I work at my own pace. So I dunno. I just go through the motions.

Yeah I hear ya on the best friend part. I haven't raced at all this year really so all my friends I hang out at the track with I haven't really seen and I feel bad, but that's just me haha. I feel bad for a lot of things. I can't find the time to hang with them because of the gf.

This is our busy season because the contracts for the employees we staff roll over in October and will have a new contractor, but we are also waiting on a bunch of money to be given out from the government.

And yeah since I don't have benefits and all, I keep my options open on new jobs until I were to get all that crap here. I know one of the managers at American Muscle so I'm trying to get his number and see if they have any openings there since it's about 10 minutes away for me.

I hear ya Rob. My one gf it used to be like that as far as being too busy with her to see my friends, but it was in a bad way because she didn't like most of my friends lol. But Michelle gets along with everyone and I see them when I see them ya know?

I have minimal health insurance here. Barely any vacation if at all. But like I said. Very flexible hours.... come and go as I please basically... Overtime when I need it with no questions asked, plus the "family feel" of a small company. I wish I worked for the one company I helped out at before doing RF work for Indy car events. Such good money, free travel to/from events, free hotels, free food... Lol. But at the same time I would never be home. So i don't think I'd be able to do it all year. But every once in a while would be cool lol. I keep my very resume fresh and updated online and on paper just in case tho.

Haha yeah hear ya with the girl. She's slowly meeting some of my guys who race. If things work out for me with sponsors for next year, then her and I will be traveling a lot for racing on the weekends and hit up some big money races.

That does sound like fun but you got to think if you really want to be away the whole time. I don't think I could do that. Sounds like a cool deal though.

By the way, hows your MR2 doing?

i fully plan on getting serious with autocross next season... plan on it anyway haha. and i don't get a chance to hang out with most of my guy friends because they're lame and play WoW or have a g/f and do couple things with other couples :roll: bunch of fags :lol:

It was a cool job. One of the coolest jobs I've ever done. It's how I bought my first MR2. my dads buddy has been doing it for years and he's home like one week out of every month if that. Even though it wouldn't be like that right away, I couldn't do it.

My car is doing great. I'm slowly finding time to clean up the disaster wiring that was left by the PO and just tinker with little stuff. I still have to get a new relay for my intercooler setup which will hopefully fix it... I hit 12lbs this morning on the way to work with the cool air haha...very interested to see what happens when I'm at 15-16lbs w/ a tune in the spring...but I need an alignement and new tires soon too lol. But other than that, it runs strong with no problems. I'm not losing any oil or anything. A couple of little coolant drips here and there but I just haven't had time to dig in and fix em. It's nothing major really.

I'm hoping to get the intercooler fixed and autocross within the next couple weeks. Also wanna make a pass or 2 at the track but the car won't see much track time with a grind in 2nd gear. But in more worried about auto x anyway hehe. But yeah... Next big deal is Bear Mountain in October with the MR2oc. Can't wait. Gotta get a detail tho.

Morning all! Man it was nice to sleep in. Totally not trying to rub it in, but after my day at work yesterday... that one drink just did NOT do it for me last night. haha

DPan that's cool about yoru car going well. It's funny how you don't want to take it the the drag strip but will take it to autox haha.

Well I would love to take it to the strip alot trust me. The setup is capable of at least high 12s with a good launch but when I beat on it from first to second. It basically won't go into second and grinds REALLY bad lol. So I just don't want to risk breaki g anything.

I autocrossed the Srt once before and loooove it, just didn't have the money to spend. If IF IF IF the refinance on the SRT is unbelievable (and i mean like... going down to $200 a month somehow) i may keep it and take off the HP goodies and do some rad suspension work and get some r-comps and autocross that bitch seriously

In. Had a very nice night with my boyfriend last night. He's so sweet and caring and loving :) I'm so lucky!! We went out to dinner with my good friend Ben and his sister. We chatted about his sister going to college, how Mac's suck, how you can find a crack to photoshop, true blood (tv show) and how I'm the most gullible person in the world when it comes to stupid stuff. LOL it was a good night. after dinner, the bf and I watched TrueBlood (4 episodes). He's getting really into it. He tried my food last night... so that was good too! I'm super proud of him! This morning we woke up around 7 and i didn't get to work until 10:30... :P fun times. i love that boy so much. He tried to convince me to go home with him today, but I had to get some hours in. maybe i'll surprise him tonight after work or something.
