Yeah it's the same I5 turbo they use in the euro focus ST. If only Ford would bring that thing to America...
http://www.pistonheads.com/pics/news..._st_2005-L.jpg Actually the look kind of similar... What model is that volvo? |

Yeah the Volvo C30 is sick. Turbocharged 5 cylinder  It looks big in the pic but it's really not that big. I've missed the past 2 meets but i should be there this tuesday, although a little later since i work till 9.

Only thing I could complain about it is that it's fwd. Wish it was awd.
Would make for a sweet rally car. |
the 2.0 handles very nicely and shouldnt have any problems with the types of curves available here.

Pics from 8/26/08 are up...
http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...ad.php?t=62898 That Volvo was bone stock from what the guy was saying, the angle of the pic is what's making the radiator look like a front mount. It's definitely not crossover sized, more like GTI or Ford Focus sized but heavy as hell from what the owner was saying, sick lookin though even if it's wrong wheel drive. |
are u sure thats not an FMIC? its looks like your typical bar and plate fmic set up, i cant imagine a radiator looking like that and being that far forward, if you think bout it, in the pic it looks like its sitting ahead of the crash bar, or atleast on the same depth as the crash bar. i have never seen a factor car where the radiator doesnt sit way behind the crash bar to avoid major problems on low speed impacts.

The owner said that there wasn't anything done to it so I guess Volvo put in a front mount at the factory?
