You can never have enough. :)

EklipzGSXkid 10-17-2012 02:37 PM

Never too many cars! That's only part of the garage. It fits about 14-15 cars. I am useto having at least a dozen cars at a time. When ever I see one I like, I hafto buy it. The only problem there is space, Having so many titles at the same time, And trying to explain to insurance ETC why you need so many cars as a private owner haha.

Before my photobucket got messed up and I lost all my pics, They were all in this thread. I've owned a bit over 200 dsm's so far alone , Not counting all the other types !

2g Talon 10-17-2012 03:06 PM

holy ****.. lol. are you parting out any talon turbos? If so, i'm in the market for a FWD manual transmission :D

Lol true, except in my case I cant even fit my talon in my garage :-p

Wish i had a nice shop set up like eclipse does though, lift and all. What do you do for a living? lol

EklipzGSXkid 10-17-2012 03:12 PM

No matter how big your garage is, You always run out of space. I don't do anything for a living. I hobby all day now, and the nights I spend home with my fiancee and our 2-year old daugther. Yes I have 3 mint 5spd fwd transmissions right now. I can write you anything needed and have it notarized ETC saying it will be guarnteed to work. PM me though because I can't put a forsale price in a thread being it's against the rules I'm sure.

Here is a picture of one of the transmissions I have at the garage. None of the stuff up there has and dirty/grime on it.

Here is another one I just finished this a.m. I will be daily driving this one aswell now until someone wants to buy it. Bought it monday night needing a headgasket. Did the head/headgasket/timing/waterpump/wheels/hids ETC and it's up and running great as of today. Not a bad turn around time of 3 days. I have $1,000 into it now including the car itself.

2g Talon 10-18-2012 10:56 PM

thats very clean man, nice work :) out of curiosity, what are you asking for it?

EklipzGSXkid 10-18-2012 11:42 PM

I was going to sell it for $3,995 but realistically if someone was in need of a car I would take what ever someone could afford, As long as I'm making back my money and some for the time spent on it. I've sold a bunch of them this year that I've had sitting around between 5-6k. The grey one i posted above that one with the evo x wheels I sold for $5500 he finally finished paying it off so he gets to take it this weekend finally. I usually don't have any problems selling them suprisingly, They seem to sell quick when I list them.

They are getting harder to find. back in 2010 I was buying 3-6 every month and just collecting them until I got around to them. Now, I'm lucky if I buy 2 a month.

2g Talon 10-18-2012 11:58 PM

mind posting up some more pics of that wildberry metallic one? the one you have above? Love the way it looks, I wonder if it is equally as un-molested :)

Because you bought them all and fixed them already -_-

When you sell your cars, where do you list them for sale?

EklipzGSXkid 10-19-2012 03:52 PM

I list all my dsms on my facebook only, believe it or not. All my old mopars I have and get, I list them all on ebay only. Any expensive cars I have that I eventually sell also go right on ebay. I haven't listed a car on craigslist in almost 2 years due to all of the people on there who just waste your time. Most of the cars I have usually sell within a few days after I finish them thankfully.

EklipzGSXkid 10-19-2012 04:37 PM

Here's another. I want to get another one I found forsale online but I told the guy to bring it to my garage and i'll buy it no questions asked (how I buy 90% of my cars as long as they drop them at my garage I pay cash and they will never need to hear from me again). Anyways, He says he is afraid it will arrive and i'll back out. Tried to re-assure him I have never backed out of a sale yet when someone brings the car to the garage, But he is skeptical. I'm assuming he's not useto dealing with buyers like me.

More than likely the case. He is dealing with a lot of the folks you mentioned on craigslist. I personally will no longer meet up with someone if I am the seller especially after a 3 hour drive to purchase a car that was already sold.

What kind of a drive does the guy have?
