dude calm down. I'm sure it will all be fixed.

Scapegoat 01-03-2009 12:26 PM

i must be getting old... an hour in the garage using a sawzall on a LBJ is tiring... i think i'm gonna straighten up the garage now and sweep up the 50lbs of rust that is under the damn truck... try and sell off the parts this weekend on craigslist and tackle the interior tomorrow

sherwood 01-03-2009 12:34 PM

told u a sawzall was the answer.

DPancoast 01-03-2009 12:36 PM

yeah, it worked quite well. both driver and passenger side knuckles have been removed. now i have to figure out if i want to dig into the interior to pull out the brake pedal assembly, continue attempting to cut the roof off, or remove the rear axle...

or just clean up, pull out all the sheet metal i've taken off to sell, remove the extra bolts, sweep up the rust... probably should just clean up... its getting nasty in there with all the rust sitting around.

i really want a cup of coffee though. so i think that is first

DPancoast 01-03-2009 12:42 PM

haha I dunno man, is it in a garage? I dont feel like bein in the cold wind.

Scapegoat 01-03-2009 12:43 PM

yeah, its in my parents garage in glenside

and its freakin' t-shirt weather  i'm only wearing long sleeves b/c it keeps the 40 y/o rust and grease off me

http://photos-c.ll.facebook.com/phot...83602_6927.jpg

not much room to work though, i've got all the front sheet metal off and around the sides of it... so even less room
