Very nice. I haven't had the pleasure of shooting one of those yet.

Do you guys/girls ever feel that carrying, gives "thugs" or whatever a reason to mess with you? Or do you feel that someone could ever try to use it against you.

As for them using it against me... I have a hard enough time getting it out of my holster, so I doubt they will be able to. haha |

1. i allow my gun to become public knowledge. ** 2. i drop my situational awareness to the point where i put myself in danger without knowing it. *** 3. the bad guy can access my gun before i can defend myself and retain my weapon. **** ** - if open carrying, you obviously carry with some form of retention holster, which makes it very difficult to access the weapon unless YOU want it out of the holster. *** - no one is perfect, but situational awareness is key when carrying. you may think that you're aware at all times anyway, but trust me... carrying a weapon and being intelligent about it opens your mind up to things you never thought possible. you become very aware of your surroundings. part of SA is not allowing yourself to get into situations where you are in danger. if you are involuntarily put into danger, your situational awareness should already be helping you keep the tactical advantage. **** - Retention training. 'nuff said. if #2 and #3 are met, then i should not carry a firearm. plain and simple. if you're too retarded to keep your SA up and your weapon safe in its holster at all times, then you leave the gun in the safe at home or on the shelf at the gun shop. basically if you do it right, you should have no problems. as far as people messing with you? nah, i doubt it will happen. there's a lot of stupid out there, but not many people are that stupid. |
Ill bump it up because I know Dave will be sharing pics of a new toy he also got lastnight.
I stopped into Cabelas for a SKS banana clip and purposely did not bring more than $40. Needless to say, I ended up running home when I saw this .32 pocket pistol in the case for $120 less than I had found at other shops. Sometimes Cabelas has great deals. When I got home I promptly texted Dave who also bought a new piece lastnight. Destiny  http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/7f41a572.jpg Next to my winter carry 1911. The .32 weighs as much loaded as my 1911 Mag does! 6.5 ounces unloaded. That is a pocket pistol! Seriously thinking about duracoating the slide OD green as I ended up buying a duracoat kit, SKS 30rd mag, and the Kel Tec lastnight lol. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/eebda1c6.jpg |
oh hai aaron (i wasnt going to post in here because i feel like im just talking to people i usually just text/call anyways)! i also got a new toy... after taking my girly to the range and getting sick of her bitching about the recoil of my other guns i picked up this monster:
http://i49.tinypic.com/1yybk.jpg say hello to 22 madness! |
I'm currently home alone with my gun next to me on the bed... It's a new place, new neighborhood and I'm freaked out since it was broken into last week:eek: Someone should come and keep me company lol
