Planet Fitness Philadelphia (Blvd and Red Lion)

Anyone go there? Was looking to see if anyone who does wanted a workout parter to keep things motivated and fun. Never see any recognizable cars in the lot but you never know.

Lmk, Ive always found that working out in pairs or even a small group keeps it more fun, as long as people actually work out and don't BS for an hour

ones opening up in woodbury nj, cant wait to ditch my LA Fitness membership. The owners son goes to my school, and let me tell you he's got a ton of nice ass cars. An r8, ford gt, and a db9 just to name a few, i wouldnt spend that money any other way.

how much is it, whats the contract like? if any? i used to go to retro but this ones closer. i need some of that weight reduction mod. todays my last day eating fast food and drinking soda. lets just see how long that lasts lol.

For me it was $23.XX to sign up but he said that changes every day. For the membership I have ($20/mo inc. unl. gym w/guest, tanning, massage chairs and any PF I want to go to) there is a $39/year fee and I pay $20 a month. It's a month to month thing so you can cancel at any time with written notice.

I still have my membership for the one in langhorne..Just been lazy. I got a little muscle in my arms and i was like sweet, im done here..haha.

Alex i currently go there..but its either 4am or 9pm depending on my mood. I went to the PF Brownsville in Trevose the last 2 days. I'm thinking about switching my membership to there. A LOT less crowded when I go at night.

Monday - Friday they are open 24 hrs. Well Midnight Monday morn until 9pm Friday i think, or something like that.

Saturday and Sunday are 7-7.

The PF in Langhorne has benches... there are a few other things I really wish it had but its been decent, except after the new year when it was insanely crowded.
I'm at the Langhorne one 4-5 nights a week, I've seen a red 240 there before, and met a guy with a blue STi also.

Only freeweights they have are dumbells...yea it sucks. If I start working in Langhorne soon, I'll transfer to the PF near there.

prob was mine. i go monday, wednesdays, fridays and sundays. usually around 4:30 i get there. I'd kill to have a lifting partner. All my friends are to lazy lol.

Didn't make it today, gonna go at some point tomorrow...if anyone is gonna be there at a specific time post up and we can train in a pair or group. And people are welcome to try some of my pre-workout, but you might never want to train without it again lol

PF Red Lion and Trevose both have only Dumbells....no free benches or barbells. Dumbells only up to 60 lbs, which i suppose is in line with their no meathead atmosphere. I like it for what i use it for. I did go to Retro and i loved it, i only switched to PF because its 24 hrs and sometimes i have to go at 4am, if i'm going before work. Otherwise, I'd have never left Retro.

the one in langhorne goes up to 75's and has free benches/ barbells in flat and incline and like 4 smith machines. u can get pretty much everything done there that most would need. Although repping 75's is starting to get old :( just so convenient being i work across the street.

I was at the Langhorne one from about 8:45-11:45 tonight. I was warned that someone put glass bottles in front of the tires of another member's STi while it was parked in the lot. WTF. Keep an eye on your cars out there people...

i was at the boulevard one, however i did notice an empty amp can and a yogurt can with plastic knives from wendy's in front of the drivers side rear tire. i just kicked it and was on my way.

I have planet fitness and LA. Just for the tanning it's cheaper then a salon which costs $40.99 a month.

Also LA the free weights go up by 10's instead of 5's like Planet.

The one here in Stamford,CT all go by 10's. With the exception for the 10 15 20 30....etc
