still havent had a chance to tune it due to the rain and ****ty weather here, so im only at 10psi, but man does it spool pretty quick for the size and non Ball bearing

hopefully once the weather clears i can get some tuning in, i really wanna stay 550CC injectors and see what i can do on a single 625CC meth nozzle, maybe add a secondary smaller nozzle for the meth...but im not sure from what ive read this thing really wakes up at 25+psi

as of right now, i get 10psi by 3300rpms, from what ive read on the BEP 55AR housing people get full spool before 4000rpms. but there are sooo many factors ya know? as of right now im pretty sure if i run 25psi i will see full spool by 3800, especially on my 16G once the meth would go on the turbo would just spool extra extra fast.

If you are still running a stock 2.0, that amazing.

went on the dodge cummins forums, found one guy said it was in good shape so i paypaled him and got that **** for like 310shipped.
the real advantage to the turbo is that any diesel shop can rebuild it for practically nothing

Watch yourself here....These turbos flow ALOT more then a "b" series turbo..... I run a holset HX-40 PRO w/1000cc injectors and meth...3rd gear I was pushing 50lbs/min @ 27 PSI @ 78% injector duty cycle, You may need to step your fuel game up.

how much meth is he running? because im not looking to be making much more than 400. i think i might be fine with 550 to 25 if i can get a secondary nozzle. but then again evo 560s and rc550 are two totally different animals, i believe the evo 560s flow closer to 600? im running the evo injectors on my vr-4 with a 625cc/min nozzle and a 150psi pump and i am able to run 25psi without any knock issues.

plus a holset hx40 flows alot more air than an hx35, not to mention i got an 8blade hx35 so it will flow a lil less than the 7blade hx35.

Nice, glad to see more people running these things! Not to bad of a deal too...there is a vendor on ebay who is well known for selling a lot of Holsets with a good reputation you can get some amazing deals from him too, if anyone is interested I can look at my ebay and throw his user name up

i have been running a holset on my s13 for ~3 years. the guy obee and t are talking about is my roommate (no homo).

both of us have 2 liters and get full boost @ 4000rpm. hes got 880s now - the 560s were only safe to like 18psi and that was with 38psi base FP - LOL

Damn that's cool. Too bad there's not enough room for one of those in the baja. Diesel truck turbo would have to = a single chromed 4" stack with a flapper poppin up out of the bed....... :mrgreen: nah.

yea definitely cant run over 22psi, right now i'm at 22 and my injectors are already maxed out, tried pulling some fuel to make the IDCs go down but then i hit knock :( i'm prolly going to pick up a plx wideband meter and then 720-750CC injectors. but car feels awsome now at 22psi, top end feels REAL good!

hey man, i might be interested depending on the price? also I'm still not positive what size i wanna go with, i'm just not sure if the 680 are gonna be to small for my set up, im trying to run like 25-27psi, the 550s proved to be too small, but they performed exactly how i wanted them to, and i am able to run 22psi without any knock issues, but if i turn it up 1 psi over 22psi it starts knocking ALOT! i'm pretty sure it also has alot to do with the fact that the turbo is starting to near its efficiency range now.

wow man it looks real nice! looks like you are feeding from the head as well, are u using any kind of restrictor? it doesnt look like you are. i was a little worried feeding from the head, i know almost everyone feeds from the oil filter housing

I've been feeding off the head for 3 or 4 years with no problem at all. As far as the restrictor, It does have one but I am uncertain what size it is considering Bullseyepower sent it with the CHRA and I just threw it on there. I'll see if I can figure out the size I use and you can roll from there
