LOL... speed holes. A black one with speed holes went down my street last night. My mom and I joked about it for a good ten minutes.

i actually believe they are called rear bumper diffusers and are used to allow air to flow through the back, however on most hondas people who do it still have their stock gas tank which would defeat the purpose....

but i have read on other forums that on track setup cars they are known to shed tenths..

i never understood why they did that. i mean i still have a ton of love for honda's and i would never do that to my hatch or my teg!

It's so air doesn't got caught in the bumper and slow the car down. For real, it's not that serious.

if you're going 9's and 10's it is.

ya the holes are meant for cars running lower times, mainly only seen done on serious track cars running below 12's

Makes a big difference even with the stock gas tank at 120+. I just refuse to cut my bumper up like that because it looks hideous.

But what street car is doing 120 on a consistant basis? Hell, how many street cars are trapping 120+?

rear diffusers are only meant for your car if your running a low 13 or below quarter mile, its meant for cars that can hit at least 110 miles in the quarter mile once it hits 100 golden eagle claims they helped their car by .5 seconds, any other car they tested just was pointless

Most don't, but there are a few that do. Conincidentally, I don't know of any honda's that trap 120+ that actually have those kinds of bumpers on the street though lol. I know of some who have junk rear bumpers that they swap out that's about it.
