casino royale....

and how the hell does someone walk out of that movie? i saw it opening night and it was packed and the whole place cheered and clapped when it was over.

the best part of the movie was the aston martin DBS. the entire crowd was like "whoa" when it first appeared.

bond should always be in an aston martin. whichever dumbass thought he should be in bmws should be shot.

just watched casino royale, i can fit that in my top 10, incredible movie. so many times i thought it was gonna end, thinkin wtf wat a ****ty ending, then it keeps going, and id have to say that is probaly one of the best endings i ever seen in a movie.

sean connery is definetly awesome
when i seen this new guy on casino royale i was like wtf is this chit, this guy is a tool, but he was a damn good actor

my second favorite? well id probaly have to watch it all of them since i cant remember, but goldfinger and the moonraker would probaly be it.

any1 notice the chinese guy playing poker, his last name was fukutu, pronounced fookootoo, i was watchin it with subtitles and i laughed cuz it looked like fuk you too, i bet they did that on purpose

i was upset they didnt have any cool gadgets on his new watch

I really like Casino Royale as well. IMO it is the best Bond movie ever made. However, if we are talking about classic bond, then any of the Sean Connery ones are pretty good. Roger Moore is a tool.

Here is my problem with Casino Royale...There were not really any awesome gadgets! Everyone loves the awesome gadgets from Q!

Never Say Never Again and Golden Eye.

Connery is THE Bond.
But Brosnan was a good one.

Goldeneye hands down........ was one of the best ones ever.. Acting was awesome, gadgets were cool, and the girls were top notch.

Casino Royale was good too.... new bond was pretty good. Aston Martin was amazing.

But Connery is still the greatest Bond to date. Brosnan was good too... Basically, I like any Bond that WASNT Roger Moore.

Casino Royale was the best so far of the bond movies

it was actually the first book the creator wrote on the bond series. It makes the rest of the bond movies better, because now you can actually see him as human not some suave ass dude with an invisible car or some fony BS

Ian Fleming may have written that book first but the movie had little to nothing to do with it. Casino Royale was good but saying it was the best I don't know, definately in the top 5 though.

Agreed.

Casino Royale brought about a more realistic Bond. Bond got hurt, he almost died, he wasn't some ultra suave ubermensch that could get out of anything with his wit and gadgets. I guess some people liked that Bond, but to me it was always too fake.

The gadgets can only go so far. Die Another Day was pretty bad and the entire Bond franchise needed a facelift. I was very skeptical at first about Daniel Craig playing Bond hearing that Clive Owen and Hugh Jackman were supposedly offered the role. Casino Royale is in my top 2-3 favorite Bond movies of them all. My favorite Bond was Timothy Dalton. License to Kill and the Living Daylights are my top two favorite flicks of them all. I like him for the reason that he was the most realistic portrayal of the character that Ian Fleming wrote about in the books. Desmond Llewelyn had even said in a few interviews that Dalton was the most realistic in his eyes to Fleming's Bond in the books. The first few Connery films were good. On Her Majesties Secret Service was good. Roger Moore was hit or miss and his best was For Your Eyes Only. Goldeneye was Brosnan's best to me. They went downhill after that for him. At one point in the early 90s, Mel Gibson was supposedly offered the role and declined it. The next Bond film should be out in a couple years.
