My name is Rob, and I am the EMRA Chief of Tech. Gary K told me about this forum. It seems pretty neat!
EMRA (the Eastern Motor Racing Association, www.emraracing.org ) is pleased to announce our upcoming open wheel sprint races and one hour enduro at Pocono on August 20.
Ever wonder what was lurking on the otherside of the turn-in cones at the end of the "NASCAR" straights on the North and South Courses?? There's plenty of road there, but didn't you ever wonder where it lead?? Well; if you connect the sections you create Pocono's Long Course -- 2.5 miles of quick infields and flatout straights.
EMRA will be sharing the track with PDA. PDA will run their program for most of the morning and early afternoon. EMRA will have an Enduro practice/qualifying session and an OW practice\qualifying session within PDA's schedule. We'll close out the day with the Open Wheel Sprint Race and One(1) Hour Enduro. A copy of the day's schedule should be available by the end of the week. (Do Note: unlike other EMRA events, you may choose to sleep in a bit longer as registration and tech won't open until 9:00am. EMRA's first session on track is tentatively scheduled just before Noon.)
