I think the colors kinda cool, but that body kit...ick. The pink mesh and the uhh black splitters look a little odd. The back bumper looks like something from forza lol

this past of season i got sponsored by HOUSE OF KOLOR. they sent me the color book , and said pick a color.
i looked for the brightest one...even HOK said i was crazy. the paint took forever to do.
the car is sitting on a custom airride suspension with alot of chassis modification so it can lay that low on the
ground. the mesh grills are now BLACK(those pics are the day after assembly) some people like the rear diffuser
some dont. its all good.....my idea for the car was to make it look as over the top as i could..almost cartoony..
i think i succeeded...

this car is now strictly a trailered vehicle due to sponsorship requirments and excessive modification. i'm currently
looking for a company to help me do my dream engine set up and then i'll be ready for next season.

Anyways, the paint on the car looks amazing, not surprising considering its from House of Kolor. I'd say you have certainly achieved what your going for.:thumbup:

my car is used by toyota/scion corporate for their dealer meetings. that was at the sheraton downtown philly. we had to take it up a service elevator, and squeeze it through a door way...literally (see below)

Quick question though. Obviously with a 3-stage color you paint the car with the bumpers on it to make sure they match, but it looks liked they sprayed the car without the doors on it. Now, did they just take them off to spray the jams, or cut in and then just paint the doors off the car? How do they match up? I know with my new paint they told me they want to just paint the car, and open the doors and cut in that way, but everyone has their own technique. Just wonderin.

we used hok white as a base, a silver base effects the pink's characteristics too much. i had the fabulous kit, just like everyone else. had it for 2 years got sick of seeing it every where.

as far as painting the car goes. those pictures were from the FIRST time we painted the car. once we hung the doors, the colors were barely off, but i wanted it to be perfect. so we re-based the car, and repainted with the doors hung.

with most of the colors out there you can get a way with painting the doors seperatly, but with HOK neons you cant. they are so transparent its nearly impossible to get them to match up. the pink that we have on the car now is 4 coats of the pink.

the color is HOK neon rose. its one of their 6 true neon colors. it acts like a candy but actually has neon flake mixed with pearl flake in the paint.

i got my primer, sealer, base, color, and clear sponsored by HOK themselves. the car will be used for some of their advertising in the next year. i'm also sponsored by Team Toyota in Langhorne. and since they opened their new service center with full body shop, they did the paint work for me. i did all the body work and prep.

this is one of my old set ups. when it was a dd. TRUE fabulous kit (not a knock off)
